People should watch this as of 2018 to try to understand why his mentality seems slightly removed from those of his culture. His upbringing is extremely atypical to that of the average young black child born in Chicago. Your childhood experiences mold uour view of society in the future. It seems he expects more from his culture and believes we are capable of achieving more. In my personal opinion I truly believe Kanye considers himself a God but I truly believe he feels we should all consider ourselves the same. I re-watch a lot of his interviews and he is one of the few artists that stick to what they believe despite how unpopular it may be which I think deserves some respect. I think what shocks people, myself included is despite being so articulate in his art , when speaking candidly his thoughts seem haphazardly formed. His emotion comes out and overshadows the points he is trying to make. After I listen to him and remove judgement I understand and often agree with a lot of what he has to say.
