I made this just a few hours after you posted the video. It happened I already had all the ingredientes at home so I rushed to the kitchen. It's so delicious I think I have to cook 3 times curry and keep it in the fridge just like you :)

Is this a sweet and creamy curry, or is it more spicy and savory?

Your recipes are perfect for eating healthy. I'm learning a lot about replacing unhealthy ingredients with healthier ones. Generally home cooking is healthier than eating out, but by not using butter or cow's milk, my sensitive stomach stays happy (although I still put it in my dessert). I wish there was a way to make moist blueberry scones without butter or cream, but I doubt there is a way.

I made this tonight for dinner. I made it healthier by subbing vegi broth for the oil and soy milk with coconut extract for the coconut milk. It turned out sooo yummy! Love this channel.
Turmeric should be fried in the beginning after the cumin seeds splutter in the oil so that it can cook thoroughly.

+Taryn Merrick What is the difference?
@tarynmerrick56888 жыл бұрын
+Felipe Eugênio Vinhal Turmeric is a raw root and must be thoroughly cooked. The cumin seeds are typically added to the oil first before anything else so they can infuse the oil with flavor.

+Felipe Eugênio Vinhal I'm no expert I just watch a lot of Indian cooking videos. I know Japanese curry is done differently, but Ryoya cooks many different styles, so who knows?
@tarynmerrick56888 жыл бұрын
+Felipe Eugênio Vinhal PS Many indian cooks do not do it the way I said, and also put in the turmeric after, etc. However, it seems to be the most common way to start any indian curry. Anyway, what Ryoya made seems really tasty!
Looks quite nice...but the turmeric would taste raw since it is not cooked. I have a question. Is this curry taken as a combination with rice or bread?
