+Kara and Nate BTW, some crime/drama TV show had US agents in Thailand, and since I now know everything about Thailand when I watched I was like oh no that's not how it really is. For starters, it wasn't close to being crowded enough ;) Yeah, I'm a pseudo world traveler LOL.

These last two videos of the river cruise in Laos reminds me of the one we took on the Nile in Egypt. Exotic, relaxing and surreal. Love it!

Just an incredible journey. What an experience, to get to interact with those river side villages that have such a vastly different ways of life. As you said, you hear about it, but you rarely get to experience it. You mentioned that you might want to go on more river cruises. I don't know if you have (because I'm not through all of your videos yet), and it's probably way out of your price range, but what would be amazing is one of those French river cruises. I've always wondered about those.

As per usual guys, great vlog, one question, do you find the haze there distracting, like the brown of it, I'm British and live in Singapore and when it gets hazy it makes everything brown and I'm not keen on it.
@KaraandNate8 жыл бұрын
+DaRandoms Thanks so much!!! So cool that you live in Singapore now! We have come to enjoy the look of the haze a bit - especially over the mountains and river on this cruise. It makes everything look kind of mysterious :) I think it enhances the light in the morning and evening hours, so it's kinda ugly brown during the day but pretty orange when the sun is setting/rising :)
