I played it straight, answered all questions politely, cracked no jokes. He completed the routine and I saw him visibly relax. He then asked about the modulated headlight which flashes high-low. You're able to explore tunnels behind the Horseshoe Falls, and a few lead to where you're standing a few feet away from the moving water! There's also a deck (half open, half sheltered) at the very bottom of the falls afterwards too! It's definitely worth the price in my opinion. Much love from Toronto, ON!

I grew up in Western NY and went to Canada a gagillion times. I remember one time going up and the Canadian boarder patrol officer asked "How long do you plan on staying in the US?" I said, "Umm forever?" He said, "I mean Canada...it's been a long day." He let us through without any other questions :)

Oh man just watching you having to answer all those questions at the border crossing made me nervous! So glad you guys made it through! I’d be soo nervous, even if nothing was wrong. Also, there is this weird like glitch right at the end where you can hear you guys saying hello to your friends and this pink background shows up with writing and then just as quickly disappears. Am I the only one seeing it?

You are not, it appears that they were streaming the video to something in the van and the connection got disturbed for a moment. Happens at 15:40, just says Media Offline in many languages. For border crossing usually the USA into Canada isn't too bad, but for anyone who is not from the USA trying to go from Canada into the USA, oooo buddy it is hell. Even just Canadians trying to do it. You basically have to know someone in the USA to vouch for you.

Nice to see you guys keeping your sense of humor and making us (and you) laugh after what you've been going through! The cartoon, "I'm still peeing", the ponchos and trying to shoot video in the blasting water spray, confusion at the border, it was all perfect for a day where I needed a smile! 😃

If you live in the city you can’t carry bear spray. However I live in Canada and my friend who is a cop said it is legal to carry dog mace. You could always keep that on you. If ever a cop questions you on why you carry it simply say you’ve been attack by a dog and have a fear of them. They will not be able to fine you. Hopefully that helps you feel a little safer❤️

My dad was a postman and they used to have pepper spray but when it became illegal, they never took it back. He gave it to me because i was working late and i would walk in a not great neighborhood. He told me that if I had to use it, I had to flee with it because they could track it back to him. I was super careful to not lose it.

I’ve done the border crossing at Niagara Falls many times and it’s always backed up coming into Canada. Anything less than a 45 minute wait is good. And the Canadian side of the falls has much better viewing than the American side. Plus, it’s usually a lot drier. Welcome to Canada, bienvenue au Canada!

I'm from Ottawa Canada and I chuckled when you found it strange that they took the pepper spray cause we in Canada look at the US and say to each other "Wouldn't it be so weird to see Canadians walking around with side arms?" Weapons are just so foreign to us lol
@marymachum3 жыл бұрын
I'm also a Canadian and it boggles my mind they are allowed to carry weapons but we can't take Kinder Surprise Eggs across the border because Americans are worried about the warning label that says not to give the toy part to babies under 3.

@@irwfcm We do have bear spray, but to carry you need "reasonable belief" that it is for protection against bears - not people. So if you're caught carrying it in a metropolitan city, you could be charged.
