The way I see it is: Karasu uses metavision to find his enemies' weak points, Niko uses it for defense, Aiku uses it to get stats on her enemies, and Hiori uses it as an assistant. (I'm a little unsure of what Reo's metavision is like)

8:12 stopping Kaiser impact + predator eye is actually less impressive than stopping a Kaiser impact. You have to remember that predator eye is only for 1v1ing the keeper. Kaiser wasn’t focused on his surroundings, he only we thinking about the goal, the keeper, and the ball falling down on him. When using predator eye you narrow your vision and only focus on a spot on the goal the keeper can not reach. Anything thing in that narrow field will be accounted for but Since he was using predator eye he couldn’t see charles in his line of sight since it was narrowed. Which is why it is more impressive to stop a kaiser impact rather than a Kaiser impact + predator eye.

People are hyping up Karasu’s stop, however I don’t really see why. Yes he has meta vision and stopped the two gun volley, but the two gun volley isn’t as effective against two defenders if they know it is in his locker. Yes MV got him there, but any defensive player should be near that area to prevent an attack. And if u are there and see ur teammate get faked out with his left, you know a shot or pass is coming with the right. I’d still put hiori over Karasu because blocking Charles “contrarian pass” seems like a much better feat, same with reo, I think reo might have better MV and his copy ability pushes him above Karasu. Karasu might have a really tough time making it into the starting lineup for DFM with reo, kunigami, hiori (out of position but a good choice), and raichi (I’ll put him here since he has near world class dueling ability, partially locked up snuffy who has MV, been very present on Defense,and has been integral to all attacking movements so far). That’s just my personal belief tho

I feel like Karasu was super cool in his first match we see, but never again. Hope there's some sorta buildup or reasoning to his metavision. I think there was a lot of potential for Karasu before, but now he should be drowned out by all these top tiers ever since his swaying arms were countered. Charles coming in for a block seems a lil weird given his role and attitude, especially blocking the Kaiser impact.. but it'll be cool to see. Charles might be insane but I dunno, imagined his insane plays relating more to waking Rin up, passing in spots that forces duels with Rin's greatest enemies and not counters like an Isagi/Kaiser 2v1 or Igaguri, essentially controlling where Rin shines which is super important to Rin, and I'd think Charles would be capable. I dunno, makes more sense than Karasu randomly coming into the spotlight, but overall isn't making much sense to me. Still sounds epic though

Rin definitely still, even as a player. His entire goal is to surpass Sae after all, and he is the 2nd most important Blue Lock character after Isagi Best midfielder in the world will probably go to Sae, as he is from Japan, so the plot will probably favor him. He is the best U20 midfielder though regardless now
