This is a breakdown of the first sequence for Seiunchin Karate Kata from the Goju Ryu Karate-Do System as taught by Shihan Ehab of the Houston Samurai Karate Dojo.
Seiunchin is the fourth kata for Goju-Ryu Karate. The Seiyunchin kata means “To control & pull”.

Nah it should have the OG soundtrack for this. The Cobra Kai Theme should go with the actual dojo Cobra kai or eagle fangs. Have Miyagi do music play in the background of this

I learned this kata in Shito-Ryu and have been practicing it this way for over 10years as my primary favorite, so to see it done in different styles is always a pleasure.. especially this way. I love the eloquence and grace of motion with emphasised power spots like the fist in hand at the end of the first 3 Shiko-Dachi movements. The music sounds more reminiscent of Company Of Heroes (a video game) than relevant to the 'calm in the storm' kata Seienchin, but whatever. I'd have liked to have seen more Bunkai variations than the one performed and more clarity of intention put into the video, is it instructional? inspirational? including bunkai or not? a demonstration? it sort of ticks all those boxes, but none in any overly special way, either way though.. i train Goju Ryu Kenwakai Traditional, very different, would be great to see more strength on his legs on Shiko Dachi,open the legs more, based on the Kata wonder if he knows the application/bunkai when he moves his hands over his head, looks strange, however, well done for sharing the Dojo, and living Goju, #GAMBATE!

So this is a real kata? I recently started training karate and I honestly expected all kata to be similar to this, but it's not so I started questionin whether this is a real one or just made for the movie.

To the best of my knowledge, which is admittedly limited, it appears to be real. Invented from a combination of styles by the real Mr. Miyagi, Miyagi Chojen Sensei.
