It’s heavy on kicks and your Karate is more balanced between kicks and punches. Plus karate black belts tend to control distances better. I miss training like that. Been to broke to go to a proper gym, and the one I was going to closed down. Not enough business. One of the combos I've been working on for about a year, is doing one of those tornado roundhouse, but to the leg, and then come up top with the straight. I saw my capoeira instructor do that on a tripod bag once and started practicing it. Haven't tried it in sparring yet. Ik you did the linear inside round with the straight in the video. The only thing is distance management. Since I'm not using moving targets, I'm not expecting a backwards movements, cuz that could potentially help my move, but use it to close distance. Kinda fun.

@@SenseiSeth, this depends a bit. "Kickboxing" is in some countries, like here in Germany or the UK, a synonym for "American Style Kickboxing". And some of the Organsations, like the WAKO, systemized techniques and combinations to learn and have a belt ranking like in Karate, from "White" to "Black Belt". This is sometimes confusing for people, especially when also "Dutch Kickboxing" is around, which also became popular as its own "martial art/combat sport" (but can differ in the techniques more, depending on your Instructor/Gym).
