Karcepts and Perrin sway bar install GR86

Today we install Karcepts and Perrin sway bars with Jackson Racing Anti-dive kit. The goal is to help add some more grip. karcepts.com/c... www.perrin.com... jacksonracing....

The gr86, even with no power mods, can be an absolute monster if the suspension and chassis stiffening is done correctly. It can be faster than the new Z or Supra on track easily.

@@phelpsgarage4202 Im usually a fan of Cusco products for sway bars, but may consider the whiteline rears. Does this help reduce oversteer or keeps oversteer more predictable?

Depends on how it’s setup. You can make it oversteer more or less if that’s what you want. Normally a stiffer rear bar will oversteer and a stiffer front would understeer. Springs, air pressure, and alignment settings also play a big part.

Thanks for showing this. With sway bars being a balancing act between front and rear grip, what was your goal?

Maximize the grip. I want the car setup to be neutral, maybe a tad of oversteer

Did you have trouble on installing the whiteline rear endlinks? The nylon bolt will not screw into the top screw of the endlink on mine. I am literally returning them bc they won't screw in. I've tried everything to bolt them in but they won't.

Manly to try and keep the car was flat as possible.. the load transfers stays the same

My opinion... without knowing if we gonna get an additional reduction on the anti dive kit. We might as well take that -.2 reduction on spl front lca and call it the day. It has like all the adjustments you'd want.
