EDB is a national treasure. Does not display bias on the trials and cases she covers, only points out good/bad lawyering, and provide context and answers questions on some of the legal terminology and processes. She really is so fantastic to watch a trial with if you like watching trials with commentary, if you don’t, then don’t watch through her. Every so often we get people in chat who don’t understand that what she does is legal commentary so that means she does talk quite a bit through the trial. I like it, I find her vastly entertaining and I’ve learned a lot from her over the course of several trials I’ve watched with her. But if you’d rather watch without commentary then do that and maybe catch her quick bits or podcast episodes where she summarizes info and still offers that legal expertise for context.

Especially when, home owner, and cop, said I just got back from a funeral of, officer in NYC. BUT never goes 10 feet OUTSIDE to help his friend and officer John. All set up. Too many people, drinking, and going in and out of, house.

Yes they want solid evidence but I agree with you, this witness and most of the others I've seen come across as shifty characters. But yeah, the jury can't or at least aren't meant to, be influenced by personalities, but also, I'm not sure if they'll accept the butt dial testimonies as truthful. That's got to get them suspecting there's more going on beyond their words. But yes, they'll want supporting evidence.

Roberts is right in the thick of it. She was everywhere that morning; arrived at Jennifer McCabes in her car (a plough?), followed them to Johns House to pick up Karen and Jennifer, at Scene, called Karen "Crazy" according to JMc Testimony, at John's Body in Yard, took Karen to Hospital but was called back, picked up John's Parents, took them to the Hospital. Then with Jennifer for several important events; interviews, a visit to O'Keefe's Parents, and an hour visit in car with Wife of Investigator parked at their home! 💥

Where is the 18 inches of missing paint from the suv above karens suv. Shouldnt that be left at the crime scene. Looks like a crowbar was used. Find the paint. The same tool used to break the tailight is what was used to scratch the suv. Because if she hit someone and left a vertical scratch on the back of her suv then that paint would be at the crime scene

If you’re referring to the audio they played where you hear the windshield wipers and Karen is screaming in the background, I think that was from the morning-during/after Jen McCabe called 911.

Karen was trying to call John as she, Kerry and Jen were on their way to look for John at 34 Fairview. In the middle of the phone ringing, Karen saw John in the lawn, threw her phone down in the backseat, and ran to John. Since Karen’s call to John wasn’t answered, it went to John’s voicemail- we are hearing that voicemail. The voicemail that was left on John’s phone (from Karen’s phone, which was in the backseat), is this recording. You hear the following on the voicemail recording: - 06:04am: Jen calls 911 - 06:07am: Jen call to Nicole (7 seconds, answered per cellular data obtained by the FBI, deleted by Jen in her call log) - 06:08am: Jen call to Nicole (8 seconds, answered per cellular data obtained by the FBI, deleted by Jen in her call log) Jen claims she *never made* those 06:07am, 06:08am calls to Nicole. Cellular records obtained by the FBI from an extraction of Jen’s phone says she did and also that she deleted them on her “outgoing calls” list. Nicole claims she never answered those calls. The cellular data says those calls were both answered. The voicemail left on John’s phone, you can hear Jen making the 911 call then after that, speaking to someone on another call. She is saying something about Nicole coming outside. This proves the call WAS made by Jen and WAS answered by Nicole, exposing both of their lies about these calls. It also proves that Nicole was awake at least by 06:08am and chose not to go outside. Nicole has testified that she was sleeping during the time all the paramedics, fire and police were in front of their house (06:15am- 06:35am) and didn’t wake up until around 06:30am when Jen allegedly “burst into the room” telling them what was happening. Records conclude: that was a lie.

Most times than not, witnesses who over explain tend to be guilty. Jen McCabe illustrated herself as defiant, and emotionless. To gas light someone who just found their partner dead is mind boggling. If it was jens husband, I'm sure karen would've been understanding and consoling. Its just weird because she's defiant and supposedly telling the truth however Jen can't remember anything, so absent minded and needs to see the records. I think if your not hiding anything then you wouldn't need the records to remember and you wouldn't over explain which leads more questions
