@aleksanterii27303 жыл бұрын
I would start with following artists that you like. Then find things that you like from their work. Whether its color, shading, line or depht. Then just simply figure out how to incorporate that into your own work. You can watch tutorials or just simply the artist's process if you can't figure out how to replicate that :)

proko, sinix (i think thats their name) and marco bucci on youtube all have amazing tutorials about art techniques, plus line of action and i think draw a box are websites that teach alot

1. Don’t water down your paint as it can make it streaky, instead to want a creamy consistency 2. Use it a dry brush to blend your wet paint but make sure to wipe the brush off each time 3. Use a little blue for the whites of the eyes/ mix each primary color with white Lol this comment is more so for me than anyone else, I need to summarize your points to make sure I got it and I’m always rewatching your videos

I just started painting again and I’ve been doing greyscale portraits. I recommend this if you’re wanting to practice shadows and highlights! Full color is a bit more complicated, so the greyscale is a great way to practice since it simplifies things 😇😇😇

I started taking up art again, so I’m pushing myself to learn acrylic, water color and oil based paints. Although I don’t have a lot of perspective or anatomy drawing experience, I keep winging it. My learning process is different due to my dyscalculia (like dyslexia, but with math and other weird stuff). Watching this gave me more confidence in painting with acrylic, thank you.

Yess! I love this vid. One tip that helped me make my paintings pop: use a cool colored undertone for the shadows and a warm colored undertone for the highlights. Or vice versa. This creates awesome contrast and makes it look realistic.

Taking breaks is essential but sometimes I just forget or give up on my painting. Maybe set a timer or listen to some music for a certain amount of time then force yourself to go back and keep going.
@sierrastar51553 жыл бұрын
I find it important to never force myself to paint or draw as it often leaves me disliking it for a while. If you do it when you’re inspired and motivated then you will get much better results even if it means taking a few days or even months inbetween paintings /drawings.

Wipe your brushes as clean as possible on an old t-shirt or jeans before cleaning them with water. That way, your paint water doesn’t get too dirty. A nice tiny spray bottle is good for blending paints. You can spray it directly onto the canvas. I appreciate the tips here in the video. I am an acrylic artist and always learning. That painting came out amazing!
