Such an interesting video again Kari. I was wondering in training do you have access to anatomical mannequins (dummies) to learn from or do you train purely on the decesed who have donated their bodies? If such models existed, it would be great for you to demonstrate more? All the best and looking forward to your next video.

Hi, Kari! Thank you so much for the informative video as always. It always brings a smile on my face when I get a notification that you have uploaded.💛 Also, you must have filmed this as a live on a recent Wednesday morning, hence the greeting at the beginning of your video, but it’s late/early enough that tired as I am, I totally freaked, jumped up and ran for my shower thinking that I was late for work haha (I work at a bakery and start at 3:45 am) lol. Luckily I double checked before I actually hit the water. Anyway, sorry for blabbing. Thanks for being amazing🤗

That was a great review for me. I've retained a lot since graduating from mortuary college, but then I've lost a lot of terminology throughout 40 years. I can identify things as Doo-hickeys but forgot their names-Lol. I remember my supervisor telling me after graduation that I would be learning "his" way of embalming methods & running a FH & to forget what I've learned in school. I've actually learned from many others. It's ironic how theories taught in schools are so different of what we've learned in most professions.

Also the fact that kari so cute makes even the most morbid things explained by her more tolerable. And I hate autopsy s I understand they have there place but I had extremily bad experience with a medical examiner and a autopsy that should not have been done many years ago. I don't go for dead bodies at all but the way she explains it makes it just a little but better.

Bodies not included. Please do not try this at home. If you have been trained and have experience in this field, remember all bodies are extra. All bodies are dead, unless proven alive, by a mortician. If you've worked in a circumcision ward in a hospital, you know the pay is bad, but the tips are great. Much better money can be made, as a mortician and even an embalmer. Humans only.
