In my case it probably had to do with growing up in a household that valued putting on a face in public more than anything. at this point, I choose to spend time with those that accept me as I am and avoid all others when possible. I think this is becoming a larger issue in modern society. people nowadays are very unforgiving to others that ”say the wrong thing” or slip up in conversations. There isn’t much room for honesty, even trying being honest in the nicest way possible can be used against you by some people.

He’s so oddly open despite being confounded by seemingly simple things. To be honest I’ve never ever thought he was dumb, I get rankled when Ricky and Steve take the piss and ridicule him...he’s just different, he sees things very accurately for the most part. It’s lovely the way he readily joins in singing and dancing (not on Route 66), it shows a side of him that is sort of incongruous...he’s always moaning about the absurdity of things but he’s the first one to get out there dancing in a nambas 🙏🏻
