Wow, this is so good it brought tears to my eyes. The wind, the rock and pines. The leafless hardwoods and the spring peepers. And the beautiful Algonquin landscape. Thanks guys.

Nicely done! Painful, yet very enjoyable in the depths of a canadian winter!

Awesome... thanx Dan. I often shed a tear or two while up in the park... the beauty is just overwhelming sometimes.

Thanks for the beautiful video; you've captured much of what I love of canoeing. The light, the sound, the peace and beauty. Your's is the best canoeing video I've yet seen. Out here in the Northwest winters are mild enough to grant us year-round paddling; I've managed to get out on a lake or river at least twice this year so far. I'm sure this took a lot of work but rest assured that it is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks again.

An oldie, what a difference! But still great capture/editing. Love the anticlimax segment. 😄 Looking forward to part 2!

I'm glad you are enjoying it more than once. It was a loooong but enjoyable process putting it together so its good to know its soliciting repeat views! We have a long standing tradition of someone piping up and saying "Are we campin' yet?" as the first few kms roll by.

Beautiful work. Simply beautiful. Lovely cinematography, and your shared friendship and love of the outdoors is apparent. Loved it. You fellows seem like the kind of lads I like to camp with. Made me think of some old friends.

Fantastic sir. Now thats a great wee documentary, nice camera work and well put together. What a fantastic Country you live in. Just back from a four day trip my self hope to have a video out in a couple of weeks.

I don't know what to say bud. I hope your friend makes a recovery that sees him walking, canoeing and catching fish again one day. It'll be a long road by the sounds of it. Maybe this vid and others like it will serve as hope and inspiration for him. As you said... live everyday like its the last one.

Amazing. I could watch this video all day. Consider me subscribed to the channel. We're heading into the park early May after the elusive native brookie. I'm considering buying a GoPro to document... If I could create something with half the production quality of your vids I'd be happy.

Awesome. Thanx for the kind words Ben. Reading them gives pushes me to plan ahead for the next film. I'm about to post a little "remix" of Karma Moose... about 8 mins of just imagery and music. Less story, more visuals.... a little primer for the ice bound canoe heads out this way!

What a great video. I watched both part over and over again. You really catch the solitude of the park. Which month did you go? looks like April? I planning an "Ice Out" trip this year to find those fish
@JasonIrwinTumblehome12 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes, late April... I'm a big fan of the shoulder seasons in Algonquin (more solitude)

thanx for the kind words everyone.... I used mostly a Canon 5D but also used a borrowed older Go Pro, Drift and Canon P&S that shoots 720p... lots of different color casts and resolutions to deal with.

Very nice video! Felt like I was apart of the experience! I can only assume you are a voice talent of some sort... if not I think you should explore the possibilities of using your voice on the side for extra cash. Thanks for the video! Off to watch part 2 now 😀
