I did talk about it in a video before, but I can't remember which one! I have a lot from Global Sugar Art, but they stinkin closed in 2020. So now I have been buying Crystal Colors, Roxy and Rich, Sunflower Sugar Art. I mainly use black, dark brown, medium brown, cinnamon, terra cotta, and shades of pink! amzn.to/3Fghn9K

You did it in response to a message I sent you, actually, but I couldn’t remember which one it was either! 🤪 Do you use matte powders, shimmers, metallics, pearlised, etc?????? It is difficult to know where to spend your money because there are so many choices now.

Karolyn, please help!! I’m looking at the Sunflower Sugar Art colors on Amazon. Are ALL of their colors edible??? The luster colors say edible, but their matte colors say non-toxic. Please answer as soon as you see this. I have to order colors for a cake for Saturday!

I would get ones that say edible. If it says non-toxic, it won't harm if ingested, but it's not necessarily edible.

Petal Dust, Luster Dust, Shimmer Dusts, Pearlized Dust…. What are they each supposed to be used for? Can you mix the different types together? Can you mix different brands of the same color together? What’s edible and what’s not? What can you use alcohol, lemon extract, or vodka with to make paint to decorate? And extracts vs emulsions. Seems like there’s one other thing I’m forgetting at the moment. Which one should you use…and when? What do each of them do? How do you know how much to use? So many questions??????? Karolyn, you are a very knowledgeable teacher/instructor for many of us! Can you help us understand these baking and decorating “tools” categories, please?!?!?!
