0:35 Missed the mark a bit on this one. Look carefully as they're walking up to the wall. They ALL get the immortality effect as they are approaching it, but when they reach the wall itself, it goes away. Being that close to the wall is breaking LoS to the drone (Sigma being an exception, because enough of his hitbox is still visible, even while against the wall). Standing back a few steps would mean that you'd still get the effect - even on Torb.

Does immorts hitbox reach full height upon activation? I can't test it but my guess is the hitbox follows lamp itself hence them being "in" range as the lamp is lower, then when it reaches its full height, the hitbox moves higher up

Fun fact, you can use Overrun in your own Cage Fight if you press shift immediately after pressing Q. You still get tethered and stay inside tho (although I swear I managed to run outside my own cage once but that was prior to the first Mauga nerfs).

Mauga's circle ult isn't a wall it's a shield, so there's no collision to begin with. Even if he wasn't chained, he would just slide through the wall.

7:50 Another neat thing about elevated cage fights I learned today, if someone tethered inside a Cage Fight steps over a ledge, and is being held off the ground by that Cage Fight, either over solid ground or over an edge, the chain will actually disconnect after a second or two and let the player fall. A pretty neat way to escape (either for Mauga or the enemy team) if it’s on a tall enough high ground, or for someone like a Pharah or Echo who could recover quickly when over a cliff.

Also If Mauga manags to drop his ult over a cliff or hole it will fall and drag everyone in. Saw a video of someone using this in conjunction with petal platform and life grip.

a lot of people seem to misunderstand Mauga's ultimate, it is not a wall, that's why theres no collision with doom punch or orisa spear. It's litterally just a shield like winton bubble, the chains are the only thing keeping you from leaving

As an echo player one of my coolest plays was duplicating a soldier and getting the soldier helix rocket double kill achievement. So you can get other hero achievements when using echo ult. Also you can play the new heroes for free ;)

The Orisa interaction with Punch, Bash and Charge is a bug I'd chalk up to old code. When Orisa first lauched fortify would knock down a charging Rein, so I bet that line of code is still there and activates under the right conditions cause spaghetti.

I think I saw one worthy of testing. I'm not sure if I saw what I think I saw, but I saw it...Apparently, a friendly Orisa ult can pull people out of a friendly Mauga ult. So long as the targets are in the area where those two circles overlap. They are drawn to Orisa over the pull of the chains.

I think one thing people forget with the new legends ult is the wall isnt a solid object. it just blocks projectiles and acts as a visual indicator how of far the chains will let you go

Echo doesnt make your other heroes maestry go up, BUT, you can get the heroes achivements with here, I got Winston's cute spray, by hitting every champ with his rage while transformed, just as I got Mei's cute spray by deflecting her ultimate with Genji's deflect.

That chain thing happened to me today! I started dashing as the enemy Mauga started ulting. I think I hit the button a split second sooner, so I ran out of his ult. I thought it was a cast time issue and that I ran outside the cage before it fully took effect. Good to know for the future.

I originally thought Bap's Window simply transformed the projectile into "The base projectile but with x2 the original damage". So as a result I thought being damage boosted/passing through a second window would do absolutely nothing for it; it'd still do x2 the normal damage. Interesting discovery.

7:30 I managed to crash a server twice with two teams running triple Mauga either near launch or in the early access. 5 cages went down and the server didn’t like it. It happened again (because same teams) so on the 3rd map we had to agree to 1 mauga each. Guess they changed it to one per team due to that

I don't know why Orisia gets knocked down, but it reminds me of a glitch I found by mistake on Temple of Anubis in a OW1-ranked game where you could charge an Orisia into the corner of the right staircase at the right angle when her Fortify was about to end, and it would actually push her far enough into the wall that your charge charged her into the opposite wall, forcing her inside a 1-way wall that you could shoot through as Orisia, and it was right next to the first point, so it was OP, but I only saw it happen once in a real-ranked game (that's when I found out about it and experimented on the bugged spot in a custom later). Its been a few years since I tested this but I think only like 3 people could go into the wall, that being Rein Orisia and maybe Ball, and for some reason I believe phar could also get stuck but she would die to the impact damage so it wouldnt happen in a real game unlike the Orisia bug that ACTUALLY happened in a real game and I was the one who charged her into the wall lol im sure I just said all this for no reason but it was funny enough of an event to say here I guess.

A more thorough test of Cage Fight vs. Rocket Punch would've involved a FRIENDLY Doomfist punching any enemy inside a Cage Fight. Doom Punch will slide targets against angled surfaces without dealing the bonus damage or stun. The info can definitely be useful in Comp since Echo could dupe a Mauga or Doomfist to have both of them on a team at the same time. I doubt it will, given how Orisa Javelin interacted with Cage Fight, but you never know. Doom is a pretty buggy hero. Another misinterpretation is on Mauga's Overrun completing its animation inside an enemy Cage Fight. I think the poster meant the jump and slam portion of the ability, not just the running animation. I think it does still finish, but again, this is another case where being thorough is necessary.

I’m curious to know how Rein charge affect Mauga charge. I got two different results when I attempted this with my friend. In one instance, Rein and Mauga hit each other and kept going. In the other, Mauga acted like a wall which stopped the Rein charge and Mauga kept going. We attempted this multiple times. Each of us could only replicate one of these instances which implies that it acts differently depending on the different players. Actually, maybe it depends on who charges first.

the javelin spin doesn't stun in cage cus it's a barrier and even though it stops you from moving out of it normal barrier rules apply meaning it doesn't act like a wall imagine if you good spear someone in to sym barrier it just wouldn't work

Can you break out of the cage fight hook like you can a roadhog hook: by walking around a wall. I got caught in a cage fight indoors, but walked through the enemy shield, which shouldn't be possible because I should of been hooked to the centre. All I can think is that I somehow dodged the hook by breaking it's line of sight at a pivotal moment.
