Wonderful memories of many different class of locos. We used to spend our summer Saturdays, two girls heading to Plymouth for the day hoping behind a class 50 where the highlight of the trip was always the sea wall. Thanks for the video!!

These really are wonderful videos. Being from Crewe a trip to the Western region was always something a little different. Often had a few trips out when on holiday in the area too. Loved the sea wall - great memories.

I was a real fan of the ‘40s’ but had a soft spot for ‘50s’ too - can’t beat an old set of Mk 1s with a piece of proper traction at the front!.

I've only just happened upon this one. More excellent action. Seemed to be being talked past by a flagman in the first shot, perhaps due to the resignalling that was making its way down the coast. Lovely shot of 50007 powering round the corner. Very interesting 47 + 50 doubleheader, both under power as well.

45140 at 14.20 Minutes was working the 1V45 08.29 Nottingham-Paignton -date is 28th june 1986.
