Just wondering how many kashmiri pandits, Sikhs, Dogras stalls were there in the market, Kunal? Growing up visiting my family, we had about 30% Hindus,Sikhs, Dogras doing business peacefully together in Lal Chowk.There was this guy very close to Lal Chowk, outside the market, who had a small Vaishnav dhaaba which sold some of the best rajma chawal, Kadhi , roti, sabzi..Is he still there?

Srinagar, Kashmir. Once again I have said it in the past & I will say it again. When I think of Kashmir automatically, the first thing that goes thru my mind is the classic film of Shakti Samanta (1927-2009) Kashmir Ki Kali (1964) with Shammi Kapoor (193-2011), Sharmila Tagore, Pran, Anoop Kumar, Dhumal & Tun Tun.
