Interesting that you like the True gloves more because they're a little less comfortable. I actually switched from a True 580 to a Vapor 90 because I liked how comfortable Bauer gloves are. But as you said, the True gloves aren't uncomfortable and they are fantastic gloves.

How do you feel about the finger protection on the blocker? I have the 12.2 but it looks like the same protection. I feel its WAY outdated and seriously lacks protection, especially on the pinky and ring finger, as its not fastened very well to the cover. I find the Warrior blockers (I had a $250 Warrior blocker compared to the True 12.2 at $500 that was superior in finger protection, which is unacceptable) are superior in wrapping around the fingers and honestly I'm probably going with Bauer Hyperlite after these are done. Just wanted to hear your thoughts.

Do you or other goalies, switch equipment out between periods? (second set of gloves, or second set of pads) or do you keep the same equipment from the start. You always hear stories of players, switching to new gloves or new skate blades etc, between periods but never hear about goalies.

Hey Kas - How tall are you and what is your True Floor-to-knee measurement? I am 6'1" and my FTK measurement, per True, is 19.5" kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4i9lat-rduhbMU&ab_channel=TRUEHockey - the video shows how to measure. I have CCM Premier II pads from 5 years ago that are 34" +1" but have heard that TRUE might run a little bigger than CCMs. I also land a little lower than what is ideal in the knee block in the CCMs. I am thinking about ordering 33" +2" in HZRDUS PX4. According to True's pad chart at 19.5" FTK, I should be in a 32" pad, which seems crazy for someone who is 6'1". I would appreciate your thoughts and great videos! Best of luck finding a team this year!
