Been loving this reel. Recommend 65lb braid and heavy wire hooks. Been straightening hooks out. My only concern is what will happen when I hook a huge fish.

I've gone to heavy wire hooks and a absolute beast rod with 65lb braid. I was straightening hooks at first. I'm just waiting for what happens if I hook a 10 plus in heavy cover

Jacking fish out of cover with heavy braid and no drag can’t be good on a reel man

I'm wondering about what the faces of those fish look like after getting slammed with a broomstick, braid and no drag. I usually leave it just barely loose enough to give slightly when or if I slam em super hard. I've seen massive holes ripped in lips and fish get lost because of it too.
