This is a video where I speak about how I was groomed by a man, in depth. It's also a video where I'm listening to a man, speaking to other men about how they can groom and abuse young girls. Can women be predators? Yes. Can they groom/abuse and assault men/boys? Absolutely. Was that my experience? No. Is that the experience being discussed in this video? No. If you NEED to hear me give a "not all men" disclaimer, you can find it at 58:08. Just so you know, I will always see someone who listens to me discuss my own trauma to derail it with a comment that amounts to "can you please flatter MY ego in this discussion" as a person who would get along much better with the men that have harmed me than they would me.

In your video you keep talking about your experience with men and I don't understand if you thought at any moment how you could have done anything different to not get in your situation it seems like some women like to just blame men but it takes to to get in most of the situations women get them self into or is it just easier to blame men or anything thing else for your DECISION and again YOUR decision than play victim

She isn't playing victim she was the victim she just didn't realize in the moment. And just because she sought them out doesn't put her at blame, its still the men. It's not that hard. If they do look of legal age, they are not and they are faking an ID, then it's another issue. But you should be able to verify that with other simple information, like "what do you do in your life?". An adult will likely say they work or study, and if they say they study it's quite easy to notice if they are talking about high-school or college. The story may be fake, but it genuinely horrifies me that this man could have ACTUALLY taken part in the long term sexual abuse of the two daughters of a woman- a woman who was ALSO abusing and conditioning her two daughters for her own sexual pleasure. And if this story is actually true, that abuse and sexual grooming happened since those daughters were extremely young and honestly, they probably weren't virgins. Virginity is not a physical condition imo it's a social concept and I personally believe you are no longer a virgin when you decide to have safe, consensual sex with a partner of the appropriate age... a young girl having "sex" with a much older man who manipulated her into doing so... That's not ok. I had a friend who was assaulted and just heart broken because she "wasn't a virgin anymore" So messed up. Even the framing as "appetite" is so gross. It makes it sound like those young women are something he wants to literally consume. I will never forget turning 18, and the world around me changing, but only in the way that it perceived ME changing. My age was no longer a safe guard for me against men in public, something was magical about the age 18 that made me entirely different than the underage child I was not one day earlier. It was terrifying, and being 19, 20, and now 21, I am still baffled by the amount of older (40+) men feel like I am a suitable match for them simply because I'm "technically legal". Like I still feel like a kid, I just started understanding taxes and taking care of my car and paying rent, my life experience is so low and no older guy should find me viable when they go off on their vacation homes and pension plans..
@Slow11ferrets3 жыл бұрын
This is exactly how I felt when I turned 18 too. It was such a confusing and sudden change that I didn't feel prepared for; why was I a child yesterday but not today? What changed, really? Was I supposed to have a sexual awakening overnight? Did I just need the right 'teacher'? So of course, I felt like it was my fault that I didn't feel ready, even after experiencing some abuses as a minor. But that's a perfect opportunity for grooming/ abuse to creep in and thrive if the wrong type of person enters into your life. And it can mess up your whole sexual identity. My partner was much older compared to my 20 year old self. Technically legal? Yes. Totally appropriate? Looking back... no. They were obviously trying to mold me and project their fantasies onto me. A lot of men (I say men only because of the content and subject matter of this video, though I know 1. Not all men, and 2. Other genders can/do abuse as well) get wrapped up in the physical technicalities of consent and the law, but I rarely hear much discussion/considration about mental and emotional maturity when it comes to choosing a sexual partner. Just because the law says someone is allowed to it doesn't automatically they are physically, emotionally and mentally ready to begin that part of their life. It's mutually infuriating and comforting to read the comment section. I feel so validated in others' shared experiences, but so angry for all the pain that abusers like this individual have caused for so many

As uncomfortable as it is to listen to this, I really appreciate your commentary on it. I was never directly sexually abused, but when I was about 14-15 I was pretty significantly manipulated online by someone I thought was a friend. In reality, I felt obligated to respond to him because he somehow convinced me that if I ignored him or refused him, my name would end up on a s*icide note and that I would somehow be guilty for his death. I struggled for a long time to establish boundaries. We would go back and forth with me blocking him, only to be dragged back after he begged for my forgiveness through other mutuals (who were being manipulated the same way) all while he publicly insulted and bashed me. He would try and try to get me to participate in sexual stuff with him, most of which I played along with (but I thankfully never sent any sexual pictures). He would beg me to draw his online persona character having sexual relations with mine, and while I said I would, I always stalled and thankfully never followed through. Long story short, I eventually blocked him and left all social circles that he was a part of. He briefly stalked and harassed me online before going to jail for separate reasons. Still, it took me about 3-4 years to fully realize what he had done to me and why I felt so trapped and distressed at the time. I'm glad there are people like you talking about this stuff, because I likely would have never understood what he was doing to me until much much later. It is this kind of discourse that finally allowed me to realize that situation for what it was. Hopefully the trauma eventually starts to heal, and the repeated nightmares of him getting out of jail to come find me go away soon. Now that I'm aware at least, I can really start healing. Thank you again

And one of them was a cop at the time. Generational child sa has hiding it but in. The only reason it stopped in my family was me telling a babysitter. She and I litterly stopped it. @ooostarb3rryooo3 жыл бұрын
I became hypersexual after my sexual abuse too. I still am and I've accepted that part of me, but it took me YEARS to get to that point because of sexual trauma. And grown men DEFINITELY can identify traumatized women and will create a facade of safety. The only difference is that they'll isolate you from people who will point it out. They'll play on your vulnerabilities too. So if you're looking for validation they'll give you that. If you're looking for love they'll give you a warped understanding of it because it's all to serve them. Everything they do is to serve them and their desires, and you're the collateral damage. This man needs to be investigated. He's too comfortable with doing this and I GUARANTEE you, he's done this to a lot of young people. People who are related to him better listen to his dog whistles and keep their children close to them. He's a predator and the worse thing about it, is how he's RATIONALIZING it. No guilt at all. It's abusive men like this who damage girls in ways that will trickle into adulthood. And as a person who's 23 and my abuse happened when I was 5, I'm STILL healing from my abuse and it's the hardest thing to heal from spiritually. I'm tired of this shit being normalized, and black women getting swept under the rug about this situation. I'm tired.

I genuinely hate how people view age difference as objective age difference and not relative age difference. If you’re 25 dating someone who is 17 yes that’s 8 years. But relative age difference is almost 1.5x that person’s age. Compared to a 40 year old and a 32 year old who would have a relative age difference of 1.25x their age, or 60 and 52 who would have a relative age difference of 1.15x your age. It really is not that hard to understand. I have to constantly explain this to my family members to help them understand why their relationships are not appropriate.

THIS! thank you for a concise and well defined explanation. Once you have fully developed (around 25 years old) age gaps don’t matter as much because generally you’re a fully realized human being. But a 40 year old man dating an 18 year old is gross to me even if it is “legal”.

(Also feel the need to say his 'stories' sound like porn comments honestly, just people writing out their sexual fantasies in an effort to convince people it actually happened)

One of the worst parts is that as Kat says, he isnt confessing, he is bragging.
@halimaahmed4943 жыл бұрын
You're right also him mentioning r-kelly and how he thinks that he is like him....he wanted to get the views and it was all about bragging.
@asterv8433 жыл бұрын
"Show his face" is somewhat innacurate as he is in a dark shadowy location like when they're trying to protect someone's identity in a tv interview. Not to mention the fact that the stories are so unbelievable probably makes it easy for him to say "oh uh I made that shit up lol" if he gets into hot water

This is soooo disgusting!!! And the victim blaming"she tricked me", " they are complicit" nooo they are children and you took advantages of them!!!! ....come on!!! How can this man be so delusional???

I'm in my early thirties and I'm able to teach high school kids. I always noticed my male colleagues talk about young girls like they have this "dangerous allure", like they can barely resist how "mature" they look and all. My female colleagues see their teenage students as kids. You can't interact with them and NOT notice they are still boys and seek the same validation as any child and must be treated as such. You can't talk to a kid and NOT notice it's a kid. Of COURSE men know the "oh it wasn't on purpose it was a trap" argument is bullshit. But it's SO culturally ingrained, talking about how young girls are "trying to trap" them is some kind of pervasive part of male "bro" socialization. I know many guys that would never prey on children, but they still won't speak up against their bros that do, or stop "jokes" about young girls. This is why the guy on the video is bragging about it, "mainstream bro culture" has a huge pedo problem.

That’s terrifying…. That’s terrifying to know how many men have access to teaching young girls and think this way. Especially when I came across a teacher who was scarily comfortable with putting his arms around my shoulders and stuff when I didn’t even know who he was… this is scary…

I drove a school bus for years (now I'm going for my teaching degree), and SO many of the older drivers (60 and over) would say the most disgustingly predatory things about the high school girls.. for example, " I can't wait until the weather warms up to look at all the girls with how they dress themselves these days"... and without even stopping for a breath he follows up with " it's no wonder they get attacked all the time". I reported the guy and what do they tell me? " Well, it's hearsay right now and there isn't much we can do about it."

My own dad has 6 daughters and I’m amazed at the shit that tumbles out of his mouth when it comes to predatory behaviours in pedophile men (in the news etc). The disconnect is so real and terrifying

Men that grew up around a lot of women have been the worst predators in my experience. My first "love" was 5yrs older than me. I remember when I met his family. It was his mom, his grandma, his two sisters and 2 nieces. I thought he would treat me so good since he was raised around so many women. I was so wrong. He was the biggest womanizer. He used women for money, sex, clothes everything. He was extremely disrespectful to women and was doing this all this while in a "relationship" with me. I couldn't believe the women in his life raised him to be that type of man and allowed him to bring different girls to the house night after night knowing I was his girlfriend. It's so sad when other women raise these predators and enable their behavior.

He may have to hide after this. Many people go after people that abuse children. And now it is forever on the interwebs....

Same. Tbh I don’t know what a “good man” is. Not a clue. If they aren’t doing predatory things, then they tend not feel like those things are wrong.

I remember reading "Why Does He Do that," which is a great book on the psychology of abusers (with a disclaimer that the author definitely has a blind spot with regards to male victims), and the big mind blowing take away of that book was that abusers know what they are doing. What makes an abuser different from the average person is not mental illness, or addiction. They do not abuse because they are overcome with "anger issues" that they cannot control, they are not helpless to their emotional mood swings or their own issues or whatever else. That's just stuff they say to get away with the things they do. There is one thing that distinguishes an abuser from a non-abuser: the abuser believes he has the right to abuse. That's it. They're not helpless to some "appetite," or "anger issues," or addiction or mental illness or whatever else. They decide to abuse people because they think they have the right to abuse people. And abusing people gets them things - it gets their partners to do whatever they want, it gets them sex from compliant people that never expect to be treated well, it gets them in a position where they have control over another person's life and finances. They want these things, they believe they have the right to these things, they take these things. So of course they take to the internet and show their ass. They don't think they have anything to be ashamed of. They might pretend to be remorseful in a situation where showing remorse might get them out of trouble. They might hide their actions to avoid getting in trouble. They might make a big show of crying and apologising if they think it'll make their victim take them back. But they do NOT feel sorry and they do NOT believe they have done anything wrong. They don't think your feelings are important or even really real. They don't think you have any rights that are more important than them getting what they want. End of story, .

This is the hardest part of having to accept when an abuser is someone close to you.

I read that book as a teenager, and it was life-changing. Honestly, every woman needs to read it, and hell, men need to read it too. Everything they do is conscious and calculated.

About the blind spot regarding male victims, if I recall correctly doesn’t the author make a disclaimer that this book is about Women victims as that’s what he does specifically but can also be applied to male victims and even lgbt+ victims? I read this book every so often because it is very helpful to understand and also because it’s important to break the cycle of abuse and to learn to read red flags because things get serious with a potential relationship. I had to learn the hard way about what the author was so true. My abuser going through DV programs and mandatory classes and at the same time actively abusing me, of course it wasn’t physical at that time but the emotional, mental and financial abuse was there. They don’t care and they will just take and take take till you are nothing but a shell of yourself.

This is extremely triggering for me as someone who was groomed and sexually abused as a child into my teens. The man was my mom’s bf and he even said he would take me from my mom because he was basically making me into the “perfect woman” for him. I’m so thankful my mom finally realized something was wrong, but we never reported him/pressed charges and he went on to abuse someone else. He got with another single mother and started abusing HER child. I will never be okay with being so afraid of him that I didn’t do something to make sure he didn’t hurt anyone else.

Oh my…I’m so so sorry that happened to you. Especially at such a young age. That happened to me once, and I was 31 years old. I know how it made me feel at 31, so I can’t even imagine how horrifying it would have been to my 15 year old self. Despite the things you’ve been through, you seemed to have come through it, and managed to thrive regardless of what was done to you. You’re an amazing woman, and absolutely gorgeous. I admire you for becoming who you are despite everything you’ve experienced. This is the first time watching your show, and I most definitely will be watching every chance I get. Thank you for advocating for these young women, and showing the world who these predators are. We could use more women like you in the world.

It's crazy that this guy says that sexual assault is common but doesn't recognize that just because it is common makes it okay. Just because it is common does NOT at all mean that it is okay. It's just sick.
