The thing that intrigued me most about last years ESC is finding out how many people had never heard of Kate. With almost 20yrs of back catalogue out there, and songs like 'last day on earth' and 'caught in the crowd' being so well known, it's genuinely surprising.

Kate Miller-Heidke is a brilliant singer. She's classically trained and a professional song-writer having written and sung in operas and musicals and she's recorded numerous brilliant contemporary pop albums. She often writes and performs with her husband, singer and guitarist, Keir Nuttall with whom she co-wrote new music and lyrics for the musical theatre version of Muriel's Wedding. Anyone who loved her Eurovision performance should check out her songs and albums which are superb!

There's a few songs/artists in eurovision that i could recommend for you to react to with amazing vocals - there's gotta be at least a couple ya can't remember of these, heh. Eugent bushpepa - mall - albania 2018 - this one is just carried by amazing vocals, even if the song doesn't necessarily stand out. Sergey lazarev - you're the only one - russia 2016 - this one is a bit more for the actual stageshow, but his voice is also great. still, you would probably enjoy it. Dani im - sound of silence - australia 2016. just another amazing voice, really. and a neat song Aminata - love injected - Latvia 2015 - Same deal, amazing voice, neat song, but her voice is.... really unique, in a good way. Kaliopi - Crno i belo - North macedonia (named FYR macedonia back then) 2012 - generally just a great song with good vocals, plus one... inhuman note, if that's the way to describe it - positively, that is. i could give ya more, but i don't wanna overwhelm ya with requests, lol.

I like a lot of Kate Miller-Heidke's songs but a lot of people in Australia laughed at this performance as being 'shit on a stick'. Can you do a reaction to Kate Miller-Heidke's song about Facebook? kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmGplYVtmap0j7c
