Ive worked with someone with a lot of "power", and they abused it day after day. Everyone covered up for him because they were afraid of what he would do if they spoke up. Matt Lauer reminds me a lot of my high powered co worker. I can only imagine what it was like behind the scenes when the cameras were off, how Matt treated people.

There's no way she could not have known he was up to something....but I also think his behavior had become so "normalized" In those days, not so long ago, women in workplaces are just so conditioned to allow "charming" men to get away with things 'that's just how it is' and we all become desensitized to it. I'm guessing now that the light has been suddenly turned on people are realizing the fact that they just accepted it and they probably feel some level of guilt and carry some level of responsibility because they should have recognized that it needed to be talked about and brought out into the open sooner....and now, so many have been hurt.
