I really appreciated all that Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney did in standing up for our country. Other than that I didn’t know much about him. This interview was great, let him do most of the talking, and I heard a lot of good ideas from him that made me want him to get back into politics. I am 77 and in 2016 I was working at a large theatre in Oklahoma City with a lot of new voters. I would tell them that Trump is 2 months older and since I started reading stuff about him and hearing him take back in the 1970s he has never exhibited one redeeming or social acceptable characteristic. I was a religious ed major at a Baptist College and Trump literally went from being a negative sermon topic to a positive one in 2015. The kids would say he is a good businessman and I would say, "Well, he just isn't an honest or good businessman and on top of that the government isn't a business. It is not there to make a profit, it is there to take care of the needs of the country.

I'm very impressed by Mr. Kinzinger. I am a progressive moderate. He has my full support, as does Liz Cheney and Mit Romney. Policies aside, they are brave and principled people. I watched the January 6th Congressional Hearing and was struck by how comprehensive and in depth it was. I was so impressed with the amount of information that was investigated, organized and shared. Thank you Mr. Kinzinger and the committee for working so hard to bring the truth out and to the forefront. I wanted to note that groups and individuals speaking out against continuation of the current ongoing war in Gaza are not doing so because they support Hamas. In the conversation I heard what could be misconstrued as a correlation, but recognize the long term, complex, history surrounding this crisis.

Adam Kinsinger’s book is excellent. I just started it (audio version) and it’s like listening to a good buddy who’s sharing his experience of some of the most historic events of our time. I admired AK for taking a stand for democracy, and what a delight to find he’s also an excellent narrator (wonderful voice) with a super compelling story to tell.
