Review of the 2024 Husqvarna TE300 Pro after 50 engine hours. This is my favorite dirt bike I've owned so far. The TBI motor has plenty of power and a smooth linear power curve. The new WP suspension is really good in stock form although the forks could use a bit of improvement in the mid-stroke when riding medium paced chop. The only real issue so far was the crappy chain guide which I replaced with the TM designs one.

I’ve got 170+ hours on my 2024 TE 300. Most of my riding is PNW steeps. I agree with you that this is the best 300 yet for hard enduro type riding. Other than brakes and tires, the only part requiring replacement was the Crankcase Pressure Sensor. The TBI bikes utilize a new design with a bigger port, and it is easier to replace. I consider replacing the CPS as a regular maintenance item, and suggest doing so at 100 -150 hours. The part costs $55 USD. This bike is very well made and reliable, and is really easy to ride in difficult terrain. I’m planning on getting at least 300 hours out of the original top end.

I’m at 60 hours on my 2024 XCW Hard Enduro. Had to mod the idle spring to get the idle right, changed the spark plug to NGK iridium, replaced the headlight switch with a motominded because the stock one wouldn’t stay on, and just replaced the seat with a Enduro Engineering one. Overall I love the bike. It’s really improved my experience with riding dirtbikes.

Loving my TE 300 pro. Recently did the TSP ERM + Med comp head. Nice upgrade, much smoother midrange and no more burble/stumble (although TBH I just got used to that). Really awesome bike. Definitely enjoying your content on this thing (and the trails you ride is amazing)

I wonder if the TBI oil injector bottle holds a smaller volume of oil vs. the TPI large oil injector bottle. I agree with you, I fill the bottle more with the TBI than I did with the TPI. I have not really paid attention to which volume is larger, though. BTW, The TBI motor and that bike fits your excellent ride style! I have 200 hours on my TBI 300 XCW, I have only replaced tires and bibs on it...she runs exactly like the day I purchased her, perfectly! I'm waiting another 50 hours for first top end...

Do you think it’s worth upgrading from a 2021 ktm 300xc? I’m thinking of just buying the new fork instead and putting it on the 2021
@PNWEnduro

I think it’s worth upgrading. I like the TBI bikes a lot more than the TPI. If you keep the 2021 just do a spring conversion on the forks you have.
@onthethrottle7104
@onthethrottle7104 Ай бұрын
Tune the TPI with Two Stroke Performance, and you can purchase the same forks as the TBI model comes with for about $900. From there and have one solid beast that compares to the 24 if not better IMO. The 20, 21 and 22 XC frame is the best made if you ask me (and many others)... Also, never under estimate a well tuned TPI. I have one and it is almost as good as my TBI, super close...

My air cooled '83 KDX 250 came with 12.5ltr of fuel and a good days ride could be enjoyed then they dropped tanks to 11ltr and kept reducing them to what 8.5ltr. when are these manufacturers going to start listening to the riding public or atleast offer an optional long range tank. I get it for short motos but come on they should get realistic for trail riders
