Kattathe Kilikkoodu (transl. A nest in the wind) is a 1983 Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by Bharathan and written by T. Damodaran from a story by Nedumudi Venu. The film was produced by P. V. Gangadharan and stars Bharat Gopy, Mohanlal, Srividya, Revathi, and Anju. The music for the film was composed by Johnson. The film was a major commercial success.
The film won three Kerala State Film Awards, including Best Actor for Gopy. The film was remade in Tamil as Oonjaladum Uravugal

It was such a change from the Hindi masala movies that were coming since the 1980s. He wondered how come everybody acted so well, and who was that professor he said. It's worth watching and it's an amazing movie 🎥. Bharathan's art direction and direction definitely should be appreciated. Bharath gopi including lalettan, srividya, revathi had done a perfect and excellent acting. Johnson master music is mesmerizing. Overall a nostalgic memory is erupted in many of us among malayalees. My mind is peaceful now by watching this beautiful family 👪 movie. 10/10.

I did not like the ending where he loves that girl back when she is psychotic n very toxic and the lady accepts her husband back.. When he clearly came back after knowing that young girl doesn't love him otherwise he was ready to leave his wife and kids.. Which shows if he had opportunity to do so he would have done it just bcz he isn't that good looking he is faithful to his wife who is 10/100..when he is 10/04

Mohanlal’s character could have made it clear that chechi was like a mother, Revathi’s character is too toxic, out of jealousy she is willing to pretend date a married man. Professor also is guilty, any young woman could easily seduce him and he is willing to forget his wife. At the end, mohanlal should have left the toxic revathi character. In real life, revathi type wife would be the end of a man.
