I also would’ve seen TAI over Katy 😂 I liked Katy a ton but it’s TAI!! I only got to see them once on the Almost Here 10 year tour, though. Katy’s first 2 albums are super solid, even if I’ve got issues with a couple of the songs looking back

especially loved your comparison of neon pop punk to katy perry's waking up in vegas. it's something i only noticed now that you pointed it out and it made me love the song + the whole neon pop punk warped tour genre all the more. that tidbit really stood out to me and i just thought that song alone was a nice piece of hint at/something that connects to her /rock/-er artistic roots from the past shelved albums. makes me feel like she could've been a neon version of avril lavigne had she pursued that musical direction lol
