Stunning footage of the quarries Matt! Is it selfish to hope they don't become a world heritage site?

More videos like this! Less bouldering movies, with dubstep background music and cheesy drone overflights.

Only just seen this but love it. Should have been the sequel to 'grit kids' though and called 'Slate Mates'

Great video, excellent story telling... But. How does a professionally trained athlete(s) forget to tie a disaster knot in the end of your rope? Unless it’s in there under the pile... but 6:58 doesn’t look safe in rope ends haha.. 🤷♂️❤️

What is the purpose of using double ropes in that situation? For rapping?
@fillmorejives22844 жыл бұрын
Reduces rope drag if your placements are far to the left/right. It's very common in British trad

The intro certainly gave that impression. With some nice weather it can look very different... granted "nice weather" occurs on maybe a couple days of the year though xD Also, the unquarried areas are far more scenic.

@@Adamjen gray sky - gray water - gray rock.. Wasn't the best weather to make a movie like this, I guess ;))
@masterpropper24856 жыл бұрын
Absolutely disagree. They did a good job of capturing the moody, comfy atmosphere of this place. And I guess the weather is part of that. If you don't get it and prefer sunny skies 365/24/7, you should probably stick to watching the usual clips from Spain/France. Waiting more than six minutes to see some climbing footage might be a bit long though - but then again this was never meant to be climbing porn, so ...
