The organization was home to some of the most recognizable names in the Apex Legends community such as Daltoosh, BackOffMyJankz, SoaR Jonny, and SoaR Kobi, and at one point, there was no other Esports organization that could be comparable to SoaR Gaming in Apex Legends. But today SoaR Gaming is just another B tier organization that barely anyone speaks about, what happened?

Very very interesting and closely accurate video honestly. I will be giving my full honest opinion at a later date but first off really good editing and VERY well made production so really awesome work. When it comes to the beginning with the "high kill game" thing, I really wasn't bothered by comments questioning the legitimacy. I think mentioning the world record of 30 kills would have been a better topic as that is the reason I joined SoaR and what really put my channel on the map as at the time I was an oldschool runescape creator with about 22,000 subscribers, the 33 kill game was just with some viewers from chat and was for a fun time. But, still very close and accurate so far for that. I was pulled into talent management about a month into SoaR and behind the scenes that wasn't just mine or SoaR's decision. It was the friend groups as mentioned in the video. Friendships are always more valuable than organizations especially when you are becoming a established creator agencies can provide more benefits over organizations. The pick ups were mostly console just simply due to the fact a majority of PC players were already in org's at the time and like you mentioned the console scene was just more dominate when it came to available creative creators. Being signed to an organization doesn't always bring monetary value (usually determined on analytics and creators knowing their worth which is extremely important for an independent creator to know their value and worth as a creator). With the recruitment challenged I had hosted, that was specifically dedicated for underrated creators who didn't have analytics but had what it takes, sadly 1000 hours put into that and I wasn't able to have the final say in who was able to be picked up and who was. That decision was always confirmed from higher ups, I could only recommend, aswell as SoaR merged with another organization that not many know. As for the others, Cujo left apex as he wasn't enjoying it and continued to play story mode games. Jonny had a very well playing job with his father in real estate and still plays here and there but he enjoyed returning to the gym and soccer over apex. With due time I genuinely felt bad mentally and felt like it was my fault dalton was in SoaR when he deserved way more as hes in TSM obviously now which he deserves. We all decided after some time we all wanted to work on our own branding and the time in SoaR was fun and most of the people in the back end outside of apex are amazing people it was time to move on. I really appreciate noticing my approach of helping smaller creators kickstart their careers if they were deserving of so. I realized I could just do that with the channel I had built myself. I am proud and LOVE to see people with little to no following but such amazing talent in entertainment or just gameplay get the recognition they deserve. Names such as eurice, raintastical, etc. I devoted full videos to during my peak to help boost their hopes and dreams. Overall though really great video and I will 100% be rewatching live and discussing more details about certain topics and clearing any missing answers. I will say though I am very impressed with the production of this video!

Sounds like Kobi Soar became a name in apex because of Kobi and then disappeared when he got out lol, makes sense cause he and the people he brought up were all among the biggest content names at that time… Also seems like depression and anxiety fucked the living hell out of the guy, won’t be a smartass about his depression but it seemed quite apparent he had it and the anxiety adding up to negative comments and trash talk probably were big reasons why it all went downhill I saw some update a while back and he seemed hella good though, you could tell his energy was way better than it was at his lowest point so that’s nice to see, he was always a really kind and genuine dude(also explains why he helped his friends get signed I guess, a real homie lmao)

I appreciate the kind words, yes I struggled deeply with panic attacks, anxiety and depression and many others for 10+ years and then became an addict and overdosed. 2 years clean now of course and I am thankful to be alive still and know that you guys noticed I am healthier and happier. I hated myself during 2020-2021 and always will. The negative comments didn't have much of an effect to that, it was more of losing my family to suicide and then my niece and a lot of family stuff and just feeling hopeless. But, I really appreciate you and hope you have an amazing day!

Although I will say that this is pretty accurate, I found that there were a few other issues with the members of SoaR. I used to watch Cujo and Calamiti religiously back in the day after I got in a game with them on console. I used to watch them a lot. But as soon as they got signed to the org, their personalities completely changed and they acted like they were just too "cool" for their audience. If you asked a question in their chats or tried to learn, they would often times talk down or get "smart". Not so much Calamiti, but I definitely noticed this with Cujo. The amount of arrogance was absurd and I stopped watching after that. And I remember both Cujo and Calamiti saying "im switching to PC because console players are trash". Imagine being a console player at the time, looking up to these guys in the Apex scene just for them to talk down on the fellow console players? I'm on PC now. But i'll never forget that.

I am truly glad this is what people think, just because I was talent manager doesn't mean I make the final decisions. I could only make recommendations, the higher ups either agreed or just said no and grabbed someone else. I wouldn't say I "cry" mental illness. I do suffer from mental illness as many people do, including addiction which in 2020 led to an overdose and changed my life completely. I am far from a coward but I do appreciate the concerns and comments. I went from living low poverty off food stamps as a child to homeless at 14-15 to putting my mother into a half a million dollar house before 21 by doing what I love. I am proud of where I am at, yes I hate the 2020-2021 "kobi" and always will because that wasn't me. But, fair opinion sir
