Hi Friend, in Rider Mode if you press the RESET button for a few seconds you can change the firs line on the display. I hope to was helpful for you

When youre in rider mode you can press and told reset and it will switch that top bar back to normal instead of power and tc

Hi nice video. I have looked at it to see if the display can show google maps. All these features that Kawasaki came up just do not bring much to the game. One thing I would want on the touring bike is maps so that I do not need to have phone on the cradle. Guess it was too hard for Kawi engineers - feature that cheapest smart phone can do :)

Great video, small correction. In rider mode, you can actually display values in the top line. I believe you have to press 'Select' to switch from the Power/ KTC view to the normal top line values.

Thanks for the info I'll give it a try. The other thing I missed was short pressing the select changes the screen from light to dark. Thanks for the comment.

Great vid except you forgot to show the left/right reset buttons under the tft display to reset trip meters. Question, can the app log info be used against you in court when disputing a speeding ticket? IE: Are Kawasaki forced to reveal ride log data to law enforcement? Who is going to get a lawyer to decipher all the legalese in the “terms/conditions” you have to agree with when installing Rideology?

I suppose the app log if you use it (you have to strt stop it) could I suppose be used just as the info on your Google/iPhone account could be (yes they track your movements also) as for the TOC most are unreadably long and tucked away is a clause to donate your liver (even if you are stii alive) Case Ref: Monty Python MOL22041983. Good point about the buttons thanks.

@@RevsIT Actually don’t need to be logged in…If they know your location start/end and times, they can figure out average speed…If you are higher than posted speed limit….you can get a ticket. In Canada -and I am sure your country- however, they need exact location of speeding so a ticket could not get imposed. I just wonder if our dystopian society that always requires increased taxation to feed the bureaucrat’s trough- will eventually use all this data for taxation. Heck in Canada they are considering a roof tax (pay more more higher square footage of roof)!! You get where I am going…LOL

@@louismartin4446 But as I said it does not record unless you manually start and stop it. It does not run constantly unlike a mobile phone. S they could not get the start / stop locations.

Hi pal, just been out on mine down the motorway, and tried time after time to get the Cruise control to work but without success? I get the symbol in the bottom left of the screen after pressing the button, but as soon as I let go of the throttle it slows as normal. I know I'm missing doing something simple, but what??

Hi. After enabling it press the down arrow /SET on the left hand control switch when you reach your desired speed. do not touch the brakes or clutch after this as it will dissengage (unless you want it to) and don't turn the throttle all the way forward just release it to return to it's default possition. If you do need to dissengage it after this you can resume with the up arrow /RES

Good video limited by the App itself> Rideology has to be the most hopeless App I've ever come across - limited functionality, very user unfriendly and doesn't even connect properly with the bike even with current bluetooth protocols (no problems with my 5 year old bluetooth speaker connecting with modern smart phone) Very lucky Kawasaki's bike department is a thousand times better than their IT Apps department. Love their bike - hate their App

Yes it is limited at the moment but it is very new and there are new versions in the works I just hope everything is updated and not just the newer bikes get it. One great use I use it for is checking battery charge.
