Still 116 km/h for a 125cc Euro 4 bike is good. My 2008 Suzuki Address 125 is Euro 3 compatible and at 120 km/h the speed limiter kicks in. If you disable the speed limiter on this one (the Ninja) and with a bigger front sprocket (+1T front) my guess is that it will get at around 120ish km/h. Nice bike! :D

@@MotoSnax One restriction is surely in the exhaust system. The other is in the ECU either by using speed limiters, RPM limiters or less fuel injected in the cylinder. @@MotoSnax Actually a lot of accidents happen due to speed. Many times the reason is car turning left while morotbike trying to overtake it. When you are on 50km/h road and try to take a turn you take a look into mirror to see empty road. Just 2-3 seconds later you get hit by bike that shouldn't even be there, because it approached at 150km/h and actually showed up in your left mirror for a split second before the accident. That actually scares me a f*cking lot. What if I want to overtake someone. What the hell Kawasaki. That's dangerous and stupid. Go for a CBR 125 2011 and leave this, honestly. Overtaking on a 125cc is most of the times impossible. Over here the urban roads are 50-60-80km/h. Some are 100 km/h. But in Germany between cities and villages a lot of roads are 100km/h. MotoSnax was it a 2017 model ? Because mine is a 2015 ABS model. I’d imagine Kawasaki aren’t that experienced with what conforms to A1 standards probably added the speed limiter to make sure they where definitely within the regulations I mean this is supposed to be a learner bike after all.

is that a DOHC 125cc engine paired with 6 speed transmision? i have a motorcycle with 125cc SOHC engine and 4 speed semi-auto transmission. its maximum speed is 110kph with top gear and almost top rev (9000rpm). is that fast for its spec?
@MotoSnax4 жыл бұрын
Kawasaki engine is DOHC. But it should be faster (140 km/h on speedo). Your bike's top speed is pretty good for its specs.
@rifkyfahrana11414 жыл бұрын
@@MotoSnax well glad to hear that. i was thinking that my bike is actually suck because its 4 speed transmission. it can't even compete with cars at highway and the engine probably would blow up if i go over 110 because this is the speed it can achieve with 4th gear and almost max rpm. but after watching this video i think it's actually a normal phenomenon for a small cc bikes for not going so fast
