Kawasaki ZH2 launch control

Using a launch control on my ZH2 for the very first time and I was so impressed with electronics aid on this bike

Awesome .. how do you like the larger meter cover? Does it actually help with shielding you from the wind? Any other mods done? I’m trying to get an idea on what to do to mine ! Good luck and ride safe

The large meter it’s a must on this bike I’m 6.3 tall and it does help a lot on freeway rides but still a naked bike. I put the zx10r stock muffler on and it sounds amazing for stock exhaust and comfort seat that’s it for now

Al Ferrari Thanks for the reply! That’s a good idea with the zx10 exhaust probably a direct bolt on. I’m currently waiting for a pipe werx slip on but it’s been over 3 weeks and hasn’t shipped yet! Once I get a few things in I’ll post a video as well. Cheers!

The small Kawasaki accessory windshield is quite expensive (approx $150 USD). I think it looks very good and compliments the front of the bike. I'm only 5'7" tall and find it only helps when I'm really tucked down for some high speed riding. For general riding don't expect to notice any difference.

Haven't tried that on mine yet. I did gear mine taller using a 19/44 combination and raised the forks an inch. I too have the factory accessory wind shield (large meter cover). Since my ZH2 will be raced at the drag strip, I might have to try the launch control. How did you know what was the best rpm to use with the KLC?

I didn’t touch the rpm it’s set up from factory at 6500 rpm

@@orhankoula1781 Im not sure to be honest im not a drag racer or anything and it was my very first time using the launch control maybe with more practice it could be lowered

@@Speedfever8 because the mt10 with much more less PS did the 0-155 in 14 sec.. so i thing you are doing something wrong, or you need more practice

Launch control eats around 1.5-2 secs Launching needs experience on that kind of bike
