I own a 2023 ZX-10 non-ABS. I am 5'8". With the addition of the Woodcraft Clip-on's I find it a comfy bike. Did I say that I am 65 years old.

I'm here because I'm interested in buying the ZX-10R; but I must admit, the R1 is more attractive and sounds better. If the R1's seating position wasn't so extreme, and if it had cruise control and a lower seat, I'd be shopping for the Yamaha.

Dear Sir, According to Kawasaki's website technical specifications of the Zx10R & ZX10RR; both have a fuel tank capacity of only 17 litres ( same as Yamaha's R1 & R1M). Only the Z1000SX, ZH2 & H2SX have 19 litres fuel tank, whilst their Versys models ( all 1000cc models) have 21 litres capacity. Kind regards.

I had 05 Zx6r (636) best middle weight bike ever created IMO. I know if I get a Zx10r it would be warped in all new upgrades and feel from 2005 to 2021. However in 2017 I got my 14 GSRX1000 had it for 4 years and am debating the Zx10r and the 2021 R1. I feel the R1 is more solid and rider friendly as the ninja is more track oriented. I know there both track based bikes for the street but it’s hard to say no to the KrT edition but I love Yamaha and rossi did help & have input on the new bike as he rode the bike and helped it on its way. Plus it sounds so good with a GP pipe compared to the ninja.

I honestly would prefer the R1 over the ZX10r but if I had to spend my money I would buy the ZX10R. The ZX10R has a fuel guage and cruise control. If I spend over $15k on a motorcycle it should come with fuel guage and cruise control period.

For 99,9% of riders the horsepower is not relevant. Anything above 180 hp is gonna blow your socks off. With the correct sprocket dimension, you WILL wheelie at 200 km/h if full throttle. So imho it's more about handling, braking, tech and usability.

I live in Singapore. It's about 50-60km of road from one end to the other. People here CAN use super sports on the daily because we use the highway all the time as the main route to work and home and basically everywhere else in the country. I know that's not a lot of distance to ride a super sports especially if you wanna full blast the throttle but it's a great excuse to get on that super sport motorcycle and actually use it. I concur it isn't exceptionally practical or an efficient use of what they're made for. You do get to feel awesome simply by riding them. Even if it's for short distances

Gen 4 still the best. Can’t do much with the current 10R. I’ll wait for the gen 8 lol. Hell by then the gen 8 might be fully electric. Oh well. Gen 5 just has a slight face lift from the 2011-2015. 2011-2015 the best

I like the Yamaha r1m. It has a 200 rear tire mostly carbon fiber and it has a cross plane crank. Which makes it sound more like a V8

It's actually the half of a V8, the firing orders are the same, just double the engine and you'll get a mini Mustang engine

Even though I’m a Kawi fanboy and ZX10R is the eventual winner, my choice between these two bikes is R1.. I think it looks better and it is a little more ‘legendary’ than ZX10R..

A true kawasaki fan knows the ZX-10r is more legendary than the R1. That's because in WSBK the bikes are tuned production bikes while the R1 is not even close to the bikes Yamaha is using in MotoGP.

Top speed of 300 doesn't count for daily ride. 60kmh to 160kmh is the most ideal ride so cross plane sounds better though h2 cult is desirable.

60km/h min for a 4 cyl 1k cc bike will having the risk of burning the engine, need to go faster to cool the engine down. Even the 2 cyl R3 needs to go at least 65km/h

I just got home from the Job I finished and I had a total of almost $35,000 Cash and I was going to take a demo ride on the Kawasaki H2 witch I did and I was shacking half way through the ride riding like a complete idiot I almost crashed the bike went through two stop sign's back tire locked up trying to stop anyway you can probably guess what happened I told the sales Man I will be dead in a week if I buy this bike, I needed to grow up a little bit more so home I went then the next day I bought The z900 still a little beast but nothing like what I wanted but I was at least smart enough to say I can't have anything like that until I learn to use that kind of power on the track only.......they are so fast that you can't make one little mistake or it's all over......so do yourself a favor and truly appreciate what you ride that top end is crazy.........just wanted to say what happened to me.....
