You're pushing on to 33 you say and I'm about to turn 60 soon and I just got myself the 2023 ZX10R. Having the time of my life at my "old" age. I am 5'9 and I admit it does take it's toll on my back AND legs and will need to stretch out after an hour or so of riding this little beast.

Age is just a number Joseph. For all I know you could have been surrounded by chiropractors and a massage table all your life 😁. I don’t think there is no denying the fact sports bikes aren’t particularly comfortable. Maybe it’s time I got a good wing 🤣. Ride safe.

I am 59 will turn 60 soon I have a GSXR Hayabusa I want to trade it in for this bike the ZX10 how does it compare with the Hayabusa Comfort wise. And speed and torque.

There is no comparison. The Busa is a Super sports tourer with a 1400 cc engine which therefore compares to the Kawasaki ZZR1400 give and take a bit :) The ZX10R would compare to the Suzuki GSXR

They sell handlebar risers for the ZX10 almost 6 inches high you ever think about buying them the bike would be amazing then.

I have one of these bikes, granted it’s a 2024, but I found out that you don’t get 100% of the power unless you configure the rider mode. Once your TFT says “Rider 1” in the upper left hand corner, instead of “Sport,” you’re able to set the power to F and your TC to “Off” through “5.” Also, the bike stalls out at 2.5k rpm. I wouldn’t ride it under 4k and you really don’t get much power until you’re about halfway through the rev range. You start to see power at 6.5k or so.

I almost like the fuel used better than the gauge, when I got the bike I was disappointed with no gauge but you get used to it, it's pretty accurate, just have to remember to reset it though

It actually has a fuel gauge of sorts, it has a fuel spent indicator. If you reset it to zero each time you fill up the tank the low fuel light will turn on at ~13 liters used. Granted it's fiddly but it's better than nothing.

If that’s the case there’s no difference from resetting trip A which I used to do on my old R1.

@@DSR1YT This method is a tad more precise than that but as you i cannot for the life of me understand why they didn't include a proper fuel gauge. Personally i couldn't give a rats arse about lean and throttle meters. 99 out of 100 owners will spend more time on public roads than on a racetrack where a fuel gauge matters a lot more.

Exactly, showing me the throttle meter is cool to see, but not functional on the road. For track its perfect, but you can put it into a more track orientated screen. Why not have a fuel gauge for the road screen, then when you flip it into screen 2 ie track screen it then shows the meters.

hitting 49 5ft 8 and just got a brand new one on the 6/4/22 black and green one went from a new 636 and i love my 10r its so comfy compared to the 636 cruise in traffic is so nice gr8 vid keep up the gr8 work

Had on 04 636 back in the day when I was a nipper. Loved that bike too. Maybe 5’8” is the perfect size for this bike, unfortunately for me personally at 6ft I wasn’t very comfortable. Enjoy the new ride venter and ride safe.

Hey bloody good video. 1st of yours I've seen & I hit subscribe. I'm thinking of buying a 2017 ZX10R KRT for my Kwak collection. I'm not that flexible anymore either unless I'm entertaining, but I've wanted one for ages & I have my eye on just what I've wanted. I haven't ridden one, but can imagine. My 2020 is way nicer I could of got the 2021 but I think the 2020 zx10r was the best looking best everything 👌 best bike I've ever had and I've had them all and for 15,000 it's just a hell of I mean a hell of a bike 🏍 everything is amazing 👏 on it

@@DSR1YT yea I know what u mean. 7 year veteran here and I went with the ZH2. Can’t be leaned over anymore. Bad knee and neck from the service. With the ZH2 I still get the power but I’m way more comfortable

Someone who is riding with someone else on a z650rs? Someone who tries to make a video so just going balls to the walls won’t help. Wouldn’t be able to hear due to wind noise. Wouldn’t be able to show Speedo most the time. You seem to forget I’m not out with the lads on a Sunday blast.
