Good little upgrades, but honestly I was expecting more. The Versys 1000/1100 is one of the flagship bikes, and I was really thinking it would have added radar tech to the setup for adaptive cruise, blind spot monitoring, etc, not that I personally need/want that, but in order to keep up with the other bikes in this category that it would compete with : Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+, Ducati Multistrada. Still an awesome machine, but just thought the upgrade would be more substantial especially since it "took a year off" to prepare.
@estebansegovia1268Ай бұрын
I understand that you want that, but the Japanese don't worry about putting unnecessary things on their models so that they raise prices for nothing.
@ghostontwowheelsАй бұрын
@@estebansegovia1268 I never said that I WANTED that. I just expected it. Thought it would happen, similar to when the Tracer 9 took a year off for its overhaul with radar, etc. I own a 2021 Versys 1000 and more than happy with all it's got. But I get what you're saying, and you're not wrong.

they just cooked. Kawasaki is absolutely cooking. Kinda new Brute Force 750 All new Brute Force 450 Ninja hybrid and electric All new Ridge Updated KRX Eliminator now this. Absolutely stunning.

there is nothing new about the Eliminator. They desperately need a updated 650 version 85 to 90 HP.

Have you ridden any of the versys 1000 variants currently and similar bikes in the segment? It's plain bad when compared.

The screen needs a better adjustment mechanism, not sure why they didn’t give it the 145 bhp of the ninja.

That is my main gripe (speaking for the new Ninja 1000sx, sorry 1100sx but it's the same story), sure all the improvements are welcome but I was expecting a bit more, specially on the design front. Let's put it like this, I own the Ninja since 2021, the model came out in 2020. I was planning to change bike next year (I will have put 50 000+ kms on it), obviously I was waiting for a new Ninja/Versys update but honestly will I invest in practically the same bike I have in the garage, give or take some hp and some more torque, paying for some fancy brake calipers (although I like the electronic suspension but a Showa would have been plenty for me, don't need öhlins), I doubt it. Will it attract other buyers who in the pass would not buy a sport tourer now that there're other options like the "tallrounders/crossovers" (Tracer 9gt, BMW s1000xr, Suzuki gsx1000gx), I have my doubts...
