Well, at least you didn't skunk. I love swinging for the fences. I hardly ever pre-fish and try and launch away from people or go in a different direction. It's 50/50 most of the time. Haha.

Same. I tell people when I fish tournaments that my main priority is Real Estate. I like having my own area to fish where no one else is around me...even if it means I'm not where the fish are. Haha.

That is a place that I definitely have want to visit. I have heard that you must be very aware of the weather even in a large boat as things can go bad quickly.

It's not only that the storms are bad, but when you get back into those cypress groves you can't see a storm coming until it's already on top of you.

Hey buddy how you doing man? I am sorry to hear that your day on the water was not good man. When you plan for a good day it never works out & when you don't plan for it it works out for you. Man that was some good rain you fish though. As long as it's not lightning i will keep on fishing. A lil bit of Thunder ok but big Thunder with no lightning i will no fishing because lightning is around even if you don't see it. They say if there Thunder there lightning & that is true but it is what it is. I just sorry to hear that you drove 3 hours for only one fish man. It was awesome man to see you wearing your sandals & getting barefooted 👣 man. My only footwear that I can wear. It that time of season now. It just suck having to put all that winter gear on with Heavy duty sock & boots just to try to stay warm while fishing. I just like to put on t-shirt , shorts , & flip-flops 🩴or be barefooted 👣 & go do whatever I do man. So much easier. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video buddy. I was going to take me , my boys , & my lil brother Tim , & his son Jimmy kayaking this weekend but i got called to take loads out to the mid west for the F-5 Tornado Victim from this week cold front. I'm surprised you haven't had to haul loads to this next of the woods. About a month ago we got hit by a terrible hail and wind storm that caused a lot of damage. But then just last week we got hit with another storm that caused multiple tornados and a lot of damage. I don't remember the weather ever being this dangerous.

Did you only see one gator? I'm surprised you didn't see more than that. I see 10 footers there all the time. I keep my distance just because if it's a female & her nest is close they can get super aggressive! I've had them follow me hissing , ext... I keep a pistol on me to whenever I'm in gator territory just in case one does decide to get to close & stupid!
