I just got into catfishing this year. Moved out of the city a few year's ago and I now live right by the Mississippi river around pool 9 in Wisconsin. My biggest so far is only 15lbs but I have found a few spots recently that produce big fish and will be catching bait later today and fishing tomorrow evening in one of those spots. I will give it all night for a few nights before I move to another spot. I will be using live bluegill and bullheads and some mooneye as cutbait.

@Kayak Catfish You said that you were going to use the red horse sucker as cut bait but you used it as live. Have you ever thought of making shallow cuts in the side of the live bait to make it like a combination of dead and live? You should try it.

You should try a live bait that attracts an extra large cat. Probably wont catch many but the one that does grab it should be a darn good one. This video was excellent again, especially that possible albino fish, I thought it was a good looking fish myself. Have a nice day.

The Tennessee river feeds off Ohio river. There definitely some big cats that come outta the Ohio Tennessee river. I don’t see how you do it in that kayak. Good fishing man. Give you a big 👍 keep it up man

Yeah thats probably another reason I don't catch that many flathead on cut bait, in my small river. The bait can't sit there long enough for a flathead to find it, the channels and gar are thick! Have had good luck with bullheads for bait, for big flathead, they can fight off the gar pretty good lol!! Good fishin to ya!!
