What size hooks do you use? Do you think that using small (5) circle hooks will cause you to miss big cats?

I use 10/0. I don’t think 5/0 would cause me to miss fish but it would be harder to use those with the size of baits I typically fish with.

I sure like the way your tournaments go by length and not weight,the fish are recorded and released where they are caught,here in Michigan on the river I fish there was like 7 tournaments-fish are brought the the weigh in then released there(who knows how many survive ? ) it’s hurt the fishery in a 15 mile stretch sad to say but true
