This is exactly what I do to stretch my daughter's type 4 hair. I stumbled on it by accident LOL. I love the stretch it gives her! I only put her in 4 big bantu knots, but it gives the same affect. I think I will try it in as many as you did to see if she gets even more stretch.

Best natural hair type that I've gotten in my two years of being natural! This really stretched my hair.
@iflowmagazine7 жыл бұрын
An alternative method is to put the hair in two braids and let air dry. No blow dryer needed...It stretches the hair nicely as well. Bantu knots tend to take longer to dry. Nice hair you have.

My Mom was waaaay ahead of the times. She always put my sisters and I hair like this after washing and I'm a 70's baby. We hated them especially if we had to go out in them. We called them Beady Balls😂 Now they're a style.

Bantu Knots are the absolute best for stretching kinky hair. Love it!
@stinkster1007 жыл бұрын
Yes, u are attractive as the other comment says. After my hair is clean I do the bantu knots every nite to sleep and then wear to gym. I put in 10 total and part mine a little differently than yours and hold with a bobby pin cuz they wont stay. So she is correct this method Does stretch the hair especially after more than a day....as mine takes 2 days almost to dry.

My gosh, your face is so beautiful. Perfect symmetry, large eyes and in perfect proportion to your lips and chin. I learned that in 'what makes a face beautiful'...sorry sis, now back to the video. Thanks for sharing as I damaged my hair to a crisp using curling irons at the salon. Beautiful hair! How long does it take to air dry your bantu knots? I have been looking for quick ways to stretch my hair without heat but my hair is really dense. I always though bantu knots curled your hair. Thanks for sharing.
@KayDeeTV9 жыл бұрын
+double “doublejoy” joy If my bantu knots are very soaked with water it would take about 2 days to fully dry. If done on damp hair then a full day would be enough for them to be fully dry without adding heat. I've found that the larger the section the less curly and the more stretched my hair will be. Thanks for your support!!

hey KayD! hope your sweeter than sugar. really cool channel you have. on my side I still have not found a way to stretch my hair that suites me, mainly because i have tension damage from these woolen braida i did twice (i had to they looked so cool). Bantu knots hurt as my hair as its drying (have always been tender headed and its the reason I stopped relaxing when I was a kid). what could i try? would be nice to see how you normally moisturize and style your hair in a week while keeping it stretched. not too keen to do another big chop and looking for styles that would suite my three different lengths of shrinking hair. have an awesome day
