After all these years ... I have been looking, waiting, I can't believe I am hearing the whole song. The lyrics (the first half) have held sacred meaning in my life for many, many years. That piece of music in White Water Summer would bring me to tears. Some of this movie was shot in Plumas county at the lake I went to with my father as a kid. We camped there every year. "Since the father land of Eden, where we roamed cathedral woods." That was my dad and I. In a few months I'll be celebrating the 20 year anniversary of his passing. The movie was sacred to me because it captured the spirit I had when I was a kid camping at Gold Lake. I've camped overnight (just like Allen) on that same exact island with my father. I just went there 2 days ago. I often listen to the soundtrack driving up 49 to the buttes. This song, the whole song, found me when I needed it most. Today was one of the hardest days of my life, and I went to find the clip version and found the whole enchilada. Almost a sign from above. I've had half the lyrics tacked up on my walls over the years , now I can complete the poem. I must say that the complete lyrics are beautiful, and haunting, and whole for me now. It captures me at this moment, as well distant ghosts from my past. I am forever grateful to who ever tracked this down. It means more to my life, especially at this moment, than you can ever begin to imagine. My tears are falling in Paradise. RIP, Laz

I'm so happy I could fulfill this for you, Mario! It was a truly exciting day on April 17th, 2019 when I tracked this down. Funny enough, it came at a similar time in my life when I needed it most. It was a team effort with me, Jill Colucci, Marlene Travis & Susan Slamer (A&R reps for Columbia Pictures).

I was 9 years old in 1987. The 80's, though I was a child, is a foundational cornerstone in my life. The Neverending Story is an eternal cinematic film for me with esoteric scores! Many 80's films and 80's music are just simply timeless and forever inspiring! 80's kid forever!!

STORY TIME: Thanks so much for all the love and appreciation you guys have shown this song. I have been trying to find it for 5.5 years, and we finally made history on April 17th, 2019 when we tracked it down. Thanks to Jill (Kaylee), her manager Kathy, and A&R Reps for Columbia Pictures Merlene and Susan for helping me with my search, and ultimately helping solve it. Fun fact, it was ACCIDENTALLY found in April by a cleaning lady who was doing spring cleaning in Merlenes living room. We still don't know where it came from! 😂😂😂 May the song live on forever. It is a classic. Happy New Year to all!!!

Since July 10th 1987 I've searched 34 years for this song .. I was 12 when the movie came out . The lyrics to this song always haunted me and I absolutely loved it but just like all of you it was just that small clip from the movie . At the age of 17 I developed heart trouble that really set my life back for a few years . Because I listen to what the doctors told me what I could and couldn't do in life. My dream was to be a Pro football player so much was robbed from me during those tender young years . Finally at the age of 33 I went against what my doctors had said I had enough. So I went for it and made a starting spot on a team while hiding my heart condition from them . I'd had been judged most my life because of it and I wasn't dare going to tell them and let it rob me again . Through this whole journey in my life I kept coming back to the clip of this song . Playing it over and over again it had stuck with me my whole life. So in 2012 I founded my own team the WV Storm . As you can see from my name . Against all odds we won the national championship our first year . The team still goes on to this day still changing life's. Still making a difference. And now here I am after 35 years and I found the full version of the song !! The missing pieces as we all say and sure enough it talks about the " Rolling Thunder and the Lightning and at the End " There's A Storm Out Tonight "" And so after all these years it's now complete I know now why I was so drawn to it's beautiful and haunting lyrics . God Bless who ever found this and up loaded it on here. I am Daven Storm and this is my story regarding this song. It was Taylor made for me but we all feel that way about it ! God Bless you all and our wait is finally now over . So at the age of 47 now I can finally look back and truly smile !!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

"Paradise", by Kaylee Adams (real name Jill Colucci). Lyrics: In the quiet of the evening, Where the deep blue waters run, Paradise is casting shadows, On the hot of her own Sun, Since the Fatherland of Eden, Where we roamed Cathedral Woods, We have fought the lonely silence, Learned to live misunderstood, Oh, Ooo, Oh, Oh, Ooo, Oh, Paradise; Oh, Ooo, Oh, all alone in Paradise, Then we wraith like rolling thunder, 'til lightning burned the sacred ground, Tears of anger flowed like Rivers, Perfections never really found, Oh, Ooo, Oh, Oh, Ooo, Oh, Paradise; Oh, Ooo, Oh, all alone in Paradise, So when you're feeling down and lonely, and you're longing to be hold, Just remember life's a journey, That the brave, always walk alone, Oh, Ooo, Oh, Oh, Ooo, Oh, Paradise; Oh, Ooo, Oh, all alone in Paradise, There's a Storm out tonight, Oh, Ooo, Oh; Oh, Ooo, Oh, Paradise, Tears falling, Paradise; Oooh, Ooo, Oh, Ooo, tonight, Oooh, Ooo, Oooh, Oh, Ooo, Oh, Paradise; Oh, no, no, all alone in Paradise.

Talk about such amazing timing. Listening to this song not only gives me a nostalgic reminder of the movie, but also takes me back to 1987, reflecting on my personal memories I have of the late actor, River Phoenix, while on location filming Little Nikita. 🙂

I remember this from Little Nikita, when River Phoenix's father switched it off in his room when he fell asleep with it on and kissed him goodnight. It's a different meaning now with River being gone, like it was a song that he really felt at the time enough to sleep with that song playing rather than just a scene, like it reflected his pain accurately
