There's not to many songs that hit the true essence of being a person in this world, especially a person that stands on morals and love down to its rarest form knowing that they have no choice but to take the hard way. This song makes you feel not so alone. When I hear this song, it makes me cry, but it also lets me know that no matter how hard it gets, I gotta keep fighting !

I think in that scene, Rocky was as such incensed and horrified at the death of his friend and mentor Apollo but he was also insanely afraid (and who could blame him) of not only being killed by Drago but losing everything he had earned and he was reflecting on that during the drive. And his own wife doubting him must have added more bruises to him. This song being as tense and dark as it is absolutely captured the moment there.

Although song was releases in 1977, it made it big in 80’s due to Rocky, easily the best decade of music, theres a certain feel that I cant describe, I wasn’t even around in the 80’s! But my parents brought me up on some amazing 80’s tunes and I’m proud that I was. Today’s music is over-edited and lacks the same passion.

We're not indestructible Baby, better get that straight I think it's unbelieveable How you give into the hands of fate Some things are worth fighting for Some feelings never die I'm not asking for another chance I just wanna know why There's no easy way out There's no shortcut home There's no easy way out Giving in can't be wrong I don't wanna pacify I don't wanna drag you down But I'm feeling like a prisoner Like a strange in a no-name town I see all the angry faces Afraid that could be you and me Talking about what might have been Thinking about what it used to be There's no easy way out There's no shortcut home There's no easy way out Giving in can't be wrong Baby, baby, we can shed this skin We can know how we feel inside Instead of going down an endless road Not knowing if we're dead or alive Some things are worth fighting for Some feelings never die I'm not asking for another chance I just wanna know why There's no easy way out There's no shortcut home There's no easy way out Givin in, givin in, can't be wrong
