The track's called "In My Spirit" by Shiro Sagisu, and it's from the Eva 2.0 OST. And if you like this one, you should definitely check out the Director's Cut version. Half the technical mistakes have been corrected, the sound effects are better and it includes some sequences I couldn't finish in time for this version.

When the missile went off, 03 was knocked out. (Stunned by being thrown against the wall, then rammed in the face by the chair wheel.) The only time it actually died was when it exposed then detonated its S2 Engine, and used its AT Field to concentrate the blast, essentially creating across between a nuclear pressure cooker and a ball of Dirac Sea. And still the enemy survived! Though Unit 03 doesn't exist anymore, there will be A Unit 03 in the sequel.

Editing-in bullets, sparks, lasers, animated AT Fields, blood (flying), Eva HUDs, the antagonist's HUD, the on-screen explosion and eye-glows, the halo-glow, the Beam Sword glowand the halo-portal... oh, and the arm-steal from the Berserk Mode sequence BY HAND and animating them by adjusting them bit-by-bit in GIMP (slightly better than Paint) and saving each as a single frame was the real bitch. And that's before video and sound editing! And that's when the computer behaved itself!

I was actually going to do that, but I had to forego the Beast Mode entirely, as I had no time to include it. I literally had to run to college with the finished product to make the deadline. Had I been given 2 more months, it would have been in there. I say 2 months because for the aerial bits I used a makeshift invisible wire rigging (It's a friggin' nightmare!), and Beast 02 likes to jump a lot. That said, it will be in the sequel if E@H proves popular enough to be worth all the work.
