To all Russian tourists: if you travel around brandishing "Z" or "V" symbols, you can expect to be harassed because of it. If you honestly don't know why, then it is either due to ignorance or arrogance and you have shirked your duty as a citizen to find out what your country is doing to other countries, and take a moral stand. You don't get to stand there scratching your head wondering why oh why are you being picked on, as if you are some babe in the woods. Deal with it.

People in spain and latvia get jail time for having a pro-russian opinion in public, we are collectively punishing russian people same way as germans collectively punished jews. We invited ourselves in a conflict we had no business in when we have done nothing similar for conflicts the US starts that became much more bloody and were equally 'illegal' and we pretend that Ukraine is some saint state that got attacked out of nowhere when we were grooming them for war for the past 8 years as per NATO generals statement(we've been training Ukrainians for 8 years for this war). Kazakh here. So, the last man's words represent the anxiety all Kazakhs feel about having Russia as a neighbor (we share the 2nd largest land border). Russia claimed many times that northern parts of Kazakhstan belong to Russia and that Kazakhs never existed and were artificially created by the USSR (reminds you anything?) Kazakhs draw parallels between the Ukrainian experience of being a russian neighbor and their own experience. Therefore Kazakhs see Ukrainian victory as a liberation of all ex-soviet countries from the toxic "big brother" with imperialistic complexes. Слава Україні!

@@jonye7511 Hm...I dont quite get your point, but I think you need to check more info about Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is not a middle eastern country. I know why you think it is. Cuz of -stan ending, isn't it? But here is a fun fact: there is not even one single -stan country in the middle east. Kazakhstan belongs to Central Asia. Culturally, geographically, historically very far from the middle east. People in Kazakhstan don't even look middle eastern. If you ever meet one, you would probably think they are from Japan, Korea or China (its very annoying, pls, don't assume people's ethnicity by the way they look). People in Kazakhstan don't hate the USA. In fact, I think many of them love the US too much, haha. Unlike many russians, who still live with the idea of the USA being its number one enemy, Kazakhs did not carry this relic of the "cold war" in the 21st century. From its independence (1991) Kazakhstan was always open for foreign investments and therefore established strong relationships with the West. Honestly, never met a Kazakh person, who hated the West or the United States.

@Слава Україні! Well, no, it’s not YOUR bad! It is just one of those dishonest expressions that got unthinkingly accepted by the international media years ago. It makes people think “Oh, these are people who want their own independent nation” or something like that. Which seems like maybe not a bad thing - self-determination. But as we know, they actually work for Russian takeover.
