I am asking this because I have heard western scholars saying that no large country should be allowed to have spheres of influence in post WW2 rules based order. Honestly, sir I think BRICS has become a joke now. It was a club of exclusive nations, what it needed was Indonesia and Saudi Arabia instead it got Egypt and Etheopia and South Africa. Instead of economic alliance it has become political alliance of mainly China and some extent Russia. Now they will add Pakistan too in the future 🤣. I think India should leave BRICS and align itself more with the WEST. Our interests lie with the WEST. Joining Asian NATO will boost India's standing significantly.
