Cube is surprisingly known to treat their trainee, so include Juhyeon here, very well. ptg or idle said that their trainee time was fun. Hyuna and Dawn's contract was dissolved by cube, yes, but while they're there they're given a lot of opportunities to create their own songs. They one sidedly announced their dating without telling cube. However, I agree that they could do better with CLC, like promote them better or give them more leeway. But on another side, there's one big agency who is now in broiling lawsuit because the execs talk to their trainee harshly (verbal harassment). at least, cube maintain their contract to keep CLC for seven year while other company like Pledis or Jellyfish dissolve their gg only after 1-2 years. Strictly working environment, just like any working place, pros and contras. however, once Soyeon said in her vlive that cube is good and she likes it there. kino also said that in one of his interview. Even shinwon from Pentagon could comfortably asking their new CEO to do dance challenge with him. I'll just say that Cube is not the best, but the hate it received is too exaggerated like other agencies had done something cube did too, but didn't receive this too much hate.

So I think its good of her to get some exposure, she's so young she probably hasn't had much opportunity to perform in front of established artists and a large audience like this. Even if she doesn't make the final cut she will have accomplished the goal Cube and her probably had in mind. When she does debut, solo or group, she will go far, she has amazing dancing potential and charisma. Her singing could use some potential but like they said, Valenti is a hard song but she did well staying in tune.

ji roo Ah see I wouldn't know that since I personally wasn't a fan of Produce 101, it just seemed to me to be trainees since season 2 held controversy with having Nu'est and other idols on the program whereas season 1 did not (at least not to my knowledge anyways). Don't get me wrong I am happy that Nu'est got the popularity they deserved but to me it seems like Produce 101 was designed for trainees whereas The Unit was designed for underrated idols to get a second chance (or third or fifth depending on how many groups they have been in).

I'll be honest, i have the same exact reaction with you, but please don't say that any other idol *can't* do a powerful dance. I know a handful i could say. I'm not being rude, but please understand that female -idols- know the company just wants cute and sexy dances and stuff like that. (although i know some want powerful concepts.) Auditioning has more of what you can do tho, so i clearly understand why the judges were happy with charismatic dancing. Again, to be clear, i am totally with you with Juhyeon and the powerful dance.
