Nice nice I have seen joblot of tools - all brand new - on ebay UK including 8 x Witte screwdrivers (mix of Protop, Maxxpro and Protop VDE) plus a few other items like USA Johnson tape measure, spirit levels and more goodies anyway for about $20 incl P&P which is ridiculously cheap, like 2 bucks a screwdriver, but the seller is genuine so I think I have to pull the trigger. Re. pronunciation of Witte, you pronounce Stahlwille correctly i.e. Stahl-vill-uh and the same applies to the ''e'' on the end of ''Witte'' so it's Vitt-uh. Sorry for being so pedantic lol.

Witte makes MATCO branded screwdrivers. Stahlwille makes/supplies the tools at Mercedes dealerships. In aviation, you see alot of PROTO and SK.

The Knipex bag looks like it has a Duck Weave which will make it stronger. Think Carhartt Jackets which use a Duck Weave

Hi cool video like always.👍 I’ve got a set of Raptors not really used them. But was talking to the Knipex sales manager he said they are really good for rusted nuts and bolts. Because of the three points of contact. Aren’t Stahlwille screwdrivers made by Witte? I’ve seen a video somewhere saying they are.

Yep, that is my plan with the Raptors: Exhuast Manifold Bolts, lol. I also think they'll be good for tie rods...prob not the intended design, but I Think they'll work really well. I think they make at least one of them, but I'm not sure if they make both.

I bet the woodworking festool fans might buy those green drivers to colour match the festool.

Hi Have you had a look at Japanese tools like Hozan or Vessel ?
@lonestarmopars5 жыл бұрын
I have two Vessel screwdrivers and love them. I brought them in really early via Amazon and never made a video. The "Impacta" didn't really work well, but they have some really nice, standard features. It is hard to find a good source to pick them up tho...I've never used anything from Hozan.

I have a Witte Maxxpro Plus and the triangular shaped handle kind of threw me off. Everything else about it is great. Vessel Megadora 900 has been my favorite handle and the knurling is nice for low torque applications. I was just disappointed the black oxide tip wore off so quickly and easily.
@lonestarmopars5 жыл бұрын
Is it a #2? I kind of like the tri-lobe, but also tend to prefer a wider back end. I love my Megadora 900! I haven't used it enough to monitor wear, but it is a very unique driver..the knurling is great, wish more companies would do that.

I just have the #3 Phillips so a very large handle. Probably why I find it a bit unwieldy.
