For what it's worth, I'd love to see a video done on the possibilities of using a program like Gig Performer 4/5 in combo with a digital mixer to achieve similar usage of plugins with no latency.

What happens with the network control port with the waves card installed? One port for SG, the other for control?

This would be a deal breaker for me if I wouldn't be able to connect the Wing to the local IP network for tablet/phone In-ears apps

by default, it is set to one port for waves, one port for control. But you can set it switched for waves (both ports dedicated to waves network), if you want to.

Drew, can I use the network port in the back of the 4816-O for Ultranet? So per say the first 16 channels of StageConnect are going to physical outputs and the next 16 are going to Ultranet?

No, The DN4816-O only accepts 16 ultranet signals on the input but you cannot split the stageconnect so the other network port outputs the other 16 stageconnect channels. It will be a copy of the XLR outputs.

You can connect the DN3816O to the ultranet output of an s32. This wil give you 16 extra seperate outputs on stage.

No. Behringer has set a course for Stage Connect... Ultranet in mixers is only for output.

I'd be happy to give you a show file I made from scratch for a Studiolive32 at a venue where I worked for a while last year, but it does not seem like there is any way to export that backup file on my iPad to iCloud or local storage or anything. I would also suggest that somebody else's show file might not be the most useful thing to you, because what you need in terms of EQ and compression for your musicians will be unique to your venue and musicians. Yes, I know some consoles come with channel settings libraries, which may give the inexperienced or beginning engineer the idea that there is a magic config that you just have to load for your kick, snare, sax or whatever, and it will be perfect in every situation. This is false, and frankly I never even bother with the channel library files other that out of pure scientific interest when using a new console and find myself bored while waiting for an event to start (and happen to have a few channels to spare to load configs on... I love asking myself "why would they have done that?" if the settings seem odd).
