07:00 If you select all clips (Ctrl+A or cmd+A), when you cut, you will cut all of them together. Also if you are in "insert mode", when you delete some clips, the clips from the right shift to take the space. This automate and speeds up the process even more.

Thank you so much for this! I know I'm 3 years late but it was helpful today for sure! I just did my first song with 2 cameras using your technique. It was really fun! I had a really fun time making my video this way.

Actually, Kdenlive has a specific feature that helps with multi-cam. There's a video tutorial that shows how to use it. I'll leave that video in the comment below.
If you group the clips after aligning them and maybe before doing the "remove space", you only need to do one shift-R to cut all of them at the same time.

Brilliant! Thank you so much. I've achieved this effect with manual alignment of the audio and then changing the opacity of the layers. It's been so effortful - this will save me hours!

Would it make sense to delete the disabled parts in the final version? For example, the main video you have is always 'in the background' which adds to the size of the recording and also seems like you could delete it when it's not being shown on the screen. Is there a reason you would or would not leave them in? Also, is there a reason you need to align the audio vs. deleting all of them except for one? Hopefully that makes sense.

Hello! Thanks for the video. I've got a video that I did where I used the "Multicam tool" under the Tool menu. As the video plays along you can simply click on the camera angle you like and it automatically splits the final cut for you as well. The problem I'd like to do is the transitions from one camera angle to another. It doesn't seem to want to be "blended". It's not behaving like when the video tracks are on the same track. I've tried adding them all to the same track, but it still isn't letting me use transitions for some reason. Are you familiar with what I'm experiencing? Can you help? Maybe by using the Multicam tool, I've messed up this ability? Thanks!

For multi-track transitions: After you're done cutting the tracks, go back to the selection tool and then drag the beginning of the clip you're transitioning to a bit until it overlaps with the clip you're transitioning from. Then right click on the overlapping part of the vid track and pick your transition. Hope that makes sense!
