@donthaveaname1086 Жыл бұрын
It’s quite clear that Steve was bullied growing up. He thinks it’s due to his appearance most likely, not taking into account his horrible and tasteless personality. Now trying to overcompensate for all of that by not only being a fantastic guitar player (which he is, undoubtedly.) but also an over the top, loud, obnoxious bully. Usually, people who are the most insecure are also more likely to gravitate towards bullying. What makes it the worst is how he tries to mask his bullying as “parody” and makes sure to put a 12 second disclaimer at the end of his videos that “it’s all in good fun and I actually like the person I just roasted to oblivion about their art”. Long story short, Stevie is just an internally sad dude who uses his “humor” to cope.

I was suspended from high school in 1980 in my freshman year for literally knocking out a huge 6`6 12th grade bully. He was the son of the former principal. I fractured his nose and blacked both his eyes with one punch. I lost my temper but nearly everyone on campus saw it at first recess. My dad gave me 20 bucks and took me to our fishing camp on a nearby lake and dropped me off while I was out of school for three days. I grew up doing chores on a 5 acre farm. I loaded, unloaded, chopped, stacked, and carried inside all our firewood each year and weeded three acres of crops and mowed the rest with a push mower, hauled hay, ran 175 fur traps, walked miles hunting, lifted heavy bags of fertilizer, harvested crops, fed and watered a lot of animals, and I wasn`t the right guy to be bullying. I was vindictive too and dangerous. I had an encounter with this same bully years before the only time I went to the town pool. This is a suggestion, but I think Stevie should try and construct a mindset where he can keep doing these types of videos, being the child friendly and mature audience oriented content (minus the "ripping on haters" videos, as they're just uncalled for), and not having to compromise between each target audience - if that makes sense. In short, as an example, he can possibly try and divide his audience between a separate channel and his current main one, meaning that he can make videos suitable for kids within the suitable KZbin kids age range on a child friendly channel, and the usual content on his main, thus possibly making things a little easier and better for himself as well as everyone else. Depends on what you're looking for. If it's guitar stuff, a good place to start would be Ola Englund, Bernth and Rhett Shull.

A lot of the problem with channels like Stevie's is that many guys of his age and generation are stunted man-children. Being 25+ years old and also mentally/emotionally a petulant child who defines themselves by some combination of their video game achievements, anime and cartoon preferences, movie opinions, and rudimentary understanding of sexuality, is sadly too common. Stevie might truly believe he is doing nothing wrong because he is possibly one of those stunted adults who are stuck in a childish mindset, unable to grow up and realize that he is being both ridiculous and harmful. I think the only firmly adult interest he has is making money.

Well you are not wrong there, but in a world of Trump, Musk, Boris Johnson and sadly many others, where there are zero consequences for repugnant behaviour, it does feel like the "stunted man-children" are the new rock stars. It's no wonder kids and idiots love them all, when they get to do exactly what they want and never get told "no" at any point. Happy I had never heard of this Stevie Tosser until today, and glad KDH has called him out on his behaviour but also wish we lived in a modern tech age where these assholes didn't get rewarded for their twisted, loud and cruel behaviour.

@@martin-1965t a single one of those you listed are stunted man children. Try Andrew Tate, Kanye West & Joe Biden instead.

Your channel is nice. I love your hair! Makes me jealous haha. Thank you for defending Richard Benson. He passed recently. I didn't appreciate his character at the time because I didn't understand his life story. Respect to Maestro Benson. (Edit: Are you Irish? You're accent sounds Irish) (2nd edit: I checked out some more videos. Suspicions confirmed!)

It sells because children find loud screaming funny

Hi, I watched many videos of Stevie T and I found that they were funny entertainment. I was not aware of the effects it caused, so I watched you're first video on him. Seeing it from your perspective helped me to understand what someone can do on youtube to a person with the help of his subscribers. I think it is disgusting. I have a channel with one subscriber and just some videos in bad quality and even I think twice before I say something on camera. I cannot watch Stevies Videos anymore, because you made clear and revealed what someone can do. Thank you for your investigative journalism. Thank you for widening my perspective. And by the way, sync or not sync I wish I could play guitar as you do, Sir. Stay safe
