I have seen the films about Kumu Hina and I have been at Iolani Palace for Onipa'a and heard Kumu Hina chant and speak. As for Keali'i, I remember when he came to SF and the Bay area to perform with Kumu Mark's halau and how wonderful it is when he judges at Ia 'Oe Ka La competition. He always sings and sometimes dances for us. Wonderful people with great skill and commitment to Hawaiian values and sovereignty. (Oakland 2020)
