Suffice to say, it had to do with a woman that contained everything I would have dared to ask GOD for. And it ended. This is so well written. I’ve been thinking randomly about this song and decided to relisten to it. The lyrics started to make sense for me as an invitation to an old lover to come back to a place only they know. I was thinking about this girl I hadn’t seen in years but that I still long for among others as if the song could be used as a way to ask for a first and probably last walk together. Broken couples have shared memories. Loners like me have only the bitterness and aching inside their broken and empty heart.
